Interesting things about those two unique monsters in this game:
White Face from I'm Scared changes textures to a pixelated style. When he kills you, your computer name will be on the body bag, and you are prompted with typing [CLOSED]. If instead you type [OPEN], it'll show the body bag opened with guts spilling out, and you have to run from White Face. Thing is, you are weak and have only 1 HP left. If he touches you at that point, the game closes.
Otto the Otter is a joke character inserted by the creators because they were tired of the requests of adding an animatronic to the game. He is slow and does minimal damage. If you somehow die to him, he does a cheap jumpscare.
It's funny you say that about Otto because it makes lots of sense. Obviously the hype from the cancerous FNAF fandom (Now hold on, I like the games, but I really do have to admit the fandom is shit) caused all the requests. Another sad thing is that many people recognize White Face as Gaster from Undertale, (Again, good game, cancerous as all hell fandom) And it just aggravates me due to two things. White Face has little resemblance to Gaster, and two: Can people really not tell the difference in dates, that Spooky's came out way before Undertale was even announced. It's so sad people don't recognize how amazing of a horror game I'm Scared was, and still is.

@@novavera5323 We can go even deeper actually, both Gaster and White Face are somewhat inspired on Uboa from Yume Nikki, a now 15 year old game.
(EVEN DEEPER, its possible that Uboa was inspired by the Clancers of Mischief Makers, a Nintendo 64 game)

Theory: the one guy that said he was video recording the mansion before he got lost is the Old Man from when you encounter Specimen 12, the mansion within a mansion. The guy wrote in one of his letters that he found a large sickle to use to defend himself. The Old Man carries around a large sickle as his weapon. Also, the writer said in his final letter that he's stopping in what can be assumed to be Specimen 12's room.

I was actually thinking the same thing when the reader said they noticed a sickle in the tree. I rewatched the original playthrough of the game and remembered it instantly when Mark read that note. I thought that was really cool and would not be surprised if that's what happened honestly.
I do believe that the old man was actually possessed by the 'mansion' itself. That's why th voice sounds like a demon.
in my opinion, the explorer did the specimen 9 fight and failed, becoming specimen 12, since the player specimen wields an axe

Definitely. The laugh is clearly almost identical to Freddy Fazbear's laugh from the first FNAF. They just had to use an animal not in FNAF so they wouldn't get sued.
The beaver was made to get the FNaF fans begging for a FNaF thing in this game to stop begging for one, they made it easy to run from on purpose.
I love that mark has custom subtitles so that everyone gets the same experience. It totally made my day :)

Man, that took me back. Imscared was one of the first games that truly scared me. The thought of being trapped in that room with nothing but the company of white face and ending it all truly filled me with dread.
