Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Nayobe Gomez released “Please Don’t Go”, her first recording, in 1984. She released singles over the subsequent 15 years and a number of these landed on Billboard’s Dance Club chart, including “It’s Too Late”, which reached #5 in 1988.
Nayobe released four albums, with “Promise Me” reaching #86 on the Billboard R&B album chart in 1990.
Andy Tripoli also produced recording for TKA and the Cover Girls.
