Today so many baritones try to sing high that it's refreshing to hear somebody sing with such a beautiful luscious , fuller and deeper voice which is still not operatic.
I'm 76 and while listening to this song again, it took me back to my life as a child growing up in my parent's house 1950 to 1965.
The wonderful memories swept over me and I started sobbing almost uncontrolably...
Thanks it was a precious experience.

me too.. ironically, Bing at first didn't want to sing Christmas songs. He said, "folks are going to think I'm trying to make a buck off of Christmas." but they convinced him to sing "White Christmas" it sold 50 million copies (best selling single of all time) and was on the charts as number one for 11 weeks. Bing never looked back. ... and people loved him for it.
Bing just makes the Christmas season more special. His deep, smooth singing just touches something during this season.

Bing Crosby was born 1903 in Tacoma Washington ❤️ I've seen both of his childhood homes, which were both built by his father. The one in Tacoma is right across from St. Patrick's church where Bing Crosby was baptized. In 1906 the family moved to Spokane and Bing's father built the second house right next to Gonzaga University where Bing went to college. It functions today as a museum! Housing over 200 artifacts from his life and career, including his Oscar.
Lived in both places, know it well. Wonderful and favorite actor, good person, amazing crooner. Kudos to Buble for keeping his memory going.

When I was younger, one of my favorite Christmas movies to watch was “White Christmas” with Bing Crosby...listening to Christmas 🎄 music during quarantine makes it a little easier. Gives me something to look forward to...
For the longest time the saying in our house was “If Bing ain’t singing, it ain’t Christmas”. We have now added Michael Buble to the saying. This was/ is a phenomenal Christmas album. Merry Christmas 2020 everyone.

I just love Bing Crosby ever since I was a little girl. My parents always played Christmas music at our home. I have so many beautiful Christmas memories with my family. Christmas is my most favorite time of year! Bing Crosby truly is the singing voice at Christmas time always.....

When I was kid I watched many times old movie "Holiday inn" with Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. There was a christmas , special atmosphere. I love it :) I recommend You this movie for Christmas. ✌🏻
Awww thank you so much that was wonderful ...I was right back in the mid 1970s at home at Christmas with Dad, Mam and my little brothers and sister, watching TV waiting and getting all excited for Santa ...we had very little ! ....but what happy Christmases, they were, a very full house ...and a house full of Love ...we lost Dad in 1984 sadly and Christmas were never the same ...A time of year I still absolutely love but we’re never the same .....you just brought me back there for a few minutes..and how lovely, warm, and nostalgic it was, it made me tear ...

I grew up in Spokane where Bing grew up. My dad's oldest sister remembered Bing from down the street when they all lived east of Gonzaga ( Boone Avenue). Bing remembered the mostly white Christmases of Spokane Washington. Merry Christmas!

This is really cool, David Bowie got to sing with Bing, one of my favourite Christmas duets of my childhood, it's a shame we get old and pass away, Bing would have loved Michael's velvet voice.

In London Ontario the Hyland Theatre runs White Chritmas twice. Once Christmas Eve. People bring their children, pj's on, Santa hats, etc. When I lived there I went every year. That movie never gets old. Amazing on the big screen. But I first saw it on a black and white television.
