Bangin bit of kit & great content as usual! Top idea to send it out to a track day specialist build, other folk who are interested can see the install & fettling required; should make a difference to chasing the lap times & it makes the footage look properly professional! Remember folks, watch the ads & buy some merch to support this channel - the hoodies are mint! 😁✌
Very nice mounting bracket, great fabricator doing his magic. I watch a 427 Holman Moody at Portland PIR a few years a go racing in a Corvette race would have loved this type of technology to see how he was running. (Oh he lead the entire race) ... LOL
What a superb result Matt, that is certainly an excellent bit of kit. It will be brilliant to see on track days and should give you the necessary information to improve your times etc. I loved your line …….. “manufacturers brackets are available but I like to make things” ..…. cracking job you made of it as well.
Since this is on the CANN, can you program your digital dash to have green for faster lap and red for slower lap? Not sure what your dash is capable of doing, but it would let you mount the AIM controller out of the way and maybe out of distraction.
Complete nonsense. These type of gadgets are what ruining professional racing. Now, it moving to the amateur racing series. Why not just play a video game? Or sit at a computer screen and let the car drive itself. This is why a new style of racing is gaining popularity in the US, where none of this electronic stuff is allowed and people get to see a driver's talent. But, if everyone else has one, I guess I see the need for you to have one. Just seems like everyone is looking for a short cut to being a better driver, rider, etc. So, good luck to you. Thanks for the video.
So you think a rev counter and speedo makes you a good driver? You have a very strange Outlook. Even the old race cars pre war had a boost gauge and rev counter. I think you mean electronics as in Formula one etc, this is a scratch built car by a gifted engineer who happens to like racing. Have a break have a Kit Kat
What a bell end. Anyone not looking for a shortcut for learning would literally be labelled an idiot. Previously you couldn't measure g forces, you know the only way to measure stopping speed. Not only is this great for driver skill diagnosis, it let's you see whether a particular tyre/brake pad is more effective in a certain condition. Now multiply that by every other engine parameter. Data logging oil temperature/pressure relative to speed is a must, no one has the time to film the oil gauge, then watch the footage and write every data point down.
Calm down. People have been using technology to their advantage since technology existed. Also, I doubt that many people in the world are interested in using the USA for guidance on much at all. If you were really serious about making a comment you wouldn't have taken a shortcut to being a better commenter; you would have done it the right way and written a sternly-worded letter like back in the good old days.
@@seanalexander9531 Yeah modelling anything coming from USA is cause for concern. Totally agree. They hold themselves up as a example for the rest of the world, but leadership are a bunch of Muppet.🇦🇺
Luckily 30 in "mexico" isn't the same as in the UK :) No traffic violations was broken during the making of this video!

How cool is that 👍🏻
Sweet piece of kit. Just gotta get a sensor for your brakes. Now would that be a peddle sensor or line pressure sensor?
Wonderful!
This is going to make track days must see TV. Be careful making brackets. It can lead to a bad obsession....
I love it 👌 F yeah nice work 😀
