You have to destroy your palbox. Then place a foundation and put the palbox on top of the foundation. If you need anymore help with it feel free to reply!
@The_Gaming_Review Pretty sure you can just build foundations and then place the palbox, that's how it worked for me any time I did so in making a base. That said, having your palbox on a foundation makes it easier to destroy in the event a raid ever actually gets in - destroying the foundation destroys the palbox.
you need to have the surrounding foundations set up or it may not let you place it. Like it the blue square when placing the pal box that detects obstructions, if that's hanging over the edge of a foundation, it won't let you place it.

yeah you need at least a cross, better a 3x3 square, palbox in the middle and only then you can delete the outside foundations
