I've got this same one. I've had it on the ice 3 times in the past week and so far I'm pleased. I'm still trying to master getting the camera in position on the jig - battling cable twist - but otherwise I'm getting about 6 hours of use, maybe a little more, from the battery.
The bobber is if you want to use a separate rod to float the camera away from where you are. I seriously doubt you could cast it far if at all. It comes with clips to hook it to a rod but I htink it would be more useful to use it with a boat or kayak and let it drift away. I have the camera sitting right in front of me now and I can't see anyway to cast it. For me it will be hung over the side of a kayak or my bass boat mainly to verify what I am seeing on the sonar. Hope that helps some.
@@WOODZMAN water dropplets all over the lens on the inside of the camera. Water temp was just above freezing. 5ft of water. Any ideas on how to fix it? Left it out for 2 days now in the house hoping to dry the dropplets out.
If it's illegal without a license how can you license an illegal act ? I bet you were never taught to think like that ! Help abolish the fishing licenses
Hey huckleberry you do realize that a person can go out and explore the lakes and almost any natural waterway with a underwater camera without a fishing license right? So what are you crying about?

I dont hook my lures to the cam the fish are spooked but you can send it down and watch your lures
