You have to book appointment ahead of time and make payment

Sir I have a question? Through your video I and my friend was able to apply for study permit. We did not do upfront. In there portal is said they will reply us if they need it. Can we do medical despite decision taking being ongoing. Biometrics was done 19th last month
Based on your explanation about an upfront medicals, does it mean that the medical request letter they ought to have sent when IRCC gets to the point of requesting you to go do medicals during ones application review is the same thing as getting an update in your account that your "you passed medicals"? Which imply that it was updated automatically by IRCC when they got to the stage during review process. If so, at this point, may i know if it is the same feeling as IRCC requesting you to go do medicals? You also said "they will move to the point of making decision. It's kind of faster with upfront..
I know it's fast with upfront medicals. But according to what you mentioned here, it means seeing an update in ones IRCC account as "passed" means you should not expect a medical request again? And also to know if all papers are fine till that stage and thereby to hope for a positive response. Tnx

Well, it's best to wait for a medical request after you submit your visa application.
You can still do upfront and send as a webform after you submit your application, though

Hi sir. Hoping for the answer. I already submitted all my docs to IRCC last feb 2, 2024. But until now almost 2 weeks Ircc has no response regarding biomatric schedule. Even medical. Whats going on.
HI SIR, will you be given the results of the upfront medicals? [let's say for NSE] or will the hospital or panel physicians send your results directly to them??? Because i wanted to be sure about the form you said will be given to us after the exam
They will give you a one page medical report...Not necessarily the details of the result.
There is a reference number on the report.
When you upload that and Ircc look it up, they will be able to view the full medical report.

If, while filling your application you do state that you have done medical exams, and you upload the form given by the doctor with the UME number, why would they ask you again to do your medical if you’ve clearly submitted the form ?

It's best to wait for them for medical request.

Some clinic may have an online portal to book . You can call them and ask if they have an online booking portal

Please, I need some clarity. For someone that did his upfront medicals on 27th September and submitted his study permit application on 13th of October, then IOM has sent a mail to the applicant that his medicals report had been submitted to IRCC on 4th October. Meanwhile IRCC has not mentioned in the applicant CIC account if the medicals report has been received talkless of confirming passed or not, and IRCC has requested the applicant to do biometrics and he has done it reflecting in his CIC account.
What could be happening to the medicals report? because according to your explanation IRCC ought to acknowledge recipient of the upfront medicals by updating the CIC account with passed or not, right? I expect your feedback, thanks
Did you still upload the e-medicals slip when submiting your application?.
If yes, you shouldn't worry about it....
They will update the medicals when they start reviewing applications.

I also did an upfront medical on the 24th of July and uploaded the medical slip that was given at the center after the medical exam when submitting my application on the 27th of July and still haven’t gotten any update from ircc concerning my medicals. I got my upfront medical exam done on 17th July 2021 that would expire before I enter Canada say around mid of August 2022, so do I need to get a fresh one done again ?
If you already got your visa approved, you don't need to do a new medical exam

I received a positive syphilis diagnosis in November 2021 and underwent treatment in December 2021, completing the Penicillin G regimen. My RPR result after three months is 1:1 reactive. Upfront is usually done before the visa application. If they requested for medicals after you submitted your visa application, that is no longer upfront.
And they don't have any information on their website regarding processing time after you do medicals. It might take couple of weeks for them to make decision, but I can't say precisely

After an application has been submitted, you can't do upfront. You will have to wait till ircc request for medicals.

Please i need tour advice,when i applied for my study permit last year,i didn't do any upfront medicals. After about two months of no news from IRCC,i went and did upfront medicals,and sent it through a web form. After like three weeks or so I saw it has been undated in my application. Thst application was denied,now whe. I was reapplying, i was asked if i have done medicals before and i said yes,i was asked to put in the number which i did. Then i submitted my application, its been about 15days,and i just found out they are requesting for medicals, they sent the medical form. What do i do? Use webform and upload the old one or go do a fresh one?
If the upfront you did is not up to one year, you can send them via webform...

Check the IRCC website for a list of physicians in your country of origin to know where to book. Then, call or email the hospital to book for medicals

If they are also coming to study, they also need medicals...But it is a very minute medical unlike for adults

Please, I wish to make some inquiries: how do I get my upfront medical exams linked to the IME numbers. The IRCC requested for my IME a few weeks ago. I contacted IOM where I did my medical and they asked me to request IRCC to link my upfront medical exams to my IME number. Please, I am confused and I sincerely need your help/advice ASAP. Thanks

As at the last time I checked in 2021, it was not more than 55,000 naira

Hello sir, i uploaded my medical report instead of the e-medical slip. I just received a medical request mail from IRCC. I have just uploaded the e-medical slip through webform and on filling the form i selected Nigeria instead of Nairobi. Please what do i do next and was my action ok cos im worried sir
You may have to talk with the medical clinic to see if they can send the medicals to ircc directly

I will suggest not to do upfront yet.
If you are applying from inside Canada, you might be able to do the test in Canada.
Hello sir, I applied for study permit with my spouse and kids as dependent, though i applied mine outside Nigeria so i wasn't required to do medical, my kids and spouse did their medical in Lagos Nigeria, now i got my visa stamped, my son got his visa stamped but my spouse and my daughter they are requesting medical, which they did upfront and was submitted to ircc by the clinic, i did raised web form and also sent email to ircc kenyan. Normally upfront is done before you submit...... You can upload the upfront to be see if they will accept...But to be on safe side, you can do a new medicals with the information they senf you

When you do an upfront medical and IRCC updates your portal saying you passed the medical exam, does it mean that your visa is guaranteed? Just as it does when they request for it. Please I will like to know.

It doesn't not directly mean the application has been approved. It just mean they have looked at the medical piece of the application. They will still review other aspect of the application

I wanted to inquire about something from you. I had my upfront medical exam in March and I submitted my application in April. When I was submitting my application I said that I had done medicals and they asked for the UMI no. But there was no slt to upload the form that I was given. (So no document was uploaded in that regard). Today IRCC has sent me the form requesting for a medical examination.
How can you advise me about this? Do you think that can affect the verdict of the application? Is there a way I can contact IRCC or should I wait for them to ask for the documents?

@@Jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjnjnnjj I sent them the document through their website where it says “how to submit additional documents.” You attach the document and also explain your issue very precisely.

If there is any change in your account, they will first send an email notification and when you log into your account, you will see the letter.... Cic does not send any document to personal email.

If you took an upfront medical exam
You must include a copy of the IMM 1017B Upfront Medical Report form that the doctor gave you after your exam. If the doctor works with eMedical, they’ll give you an information sheet print out.
You must attach that form to your paper application. If you apply online, you must upload that form before you can submit your application.
If you took a medical exam after you submitted your application
There is no further action required on your part.
If you did medicals fter you submitted your application, the medicals will automatically be sent to ircc
