Just bought the 'AOC 24VH2' to project the screen from my windows surface tablet and was having the same issue with not having wide screen usage. None of the suggested comments worked but I figured something out: Click on the "action center sidebar" - located on the right lower side. Click on "project" and you will have 4 options on how to share or view the screen Click on "second screen only" (this will put your tablet/computer to sleep and only show on the monitor. This was the only way to have access to a wide screen for me.
Hello, i was wondering if you would be able to help, With my AOC monitor, i get a slight blur with text. nothing to do with my PC as far as i know, but some images look like they have a faded image next to them, thus creating this strange bluring. I was thinking it was possibly a calibration issue?
I have no sound so the videos here do not help me. Please someone who has found a solution.. type in the directions how to fix this. I attached external speakers they show that they are working but no sound
I'm staying at my sister's place for a week, while her son and other relatives are away on a cruise. I'm using my nephew's Windows 10 desktop PC which has an AOC monitor. The thing is, there are *no buttons anywhere on the monitor,* to adjust its brightness (well, none that I can find). The brighness is perfect for daytime, but blinding at night! How the _heck_ do I adjust it?
@Devxn - ok what you want to do i press it it should pop up with a menu then press it agen untill its over a sun then leave it let it flash (dont press any thing) then it will bring you to the brightness menu its a bit complacted all so what monitor is it i can not remember its name for the life of me and im thinking about geting a second monitor

I found out how you do it: Hold your monitor power button until it turns off. While it's off hold down the left arrow and push the power button in holding the left key until the monitor come fully on so you can see what's happening your computer. It should prompt you that it is unlocked.
I have a more recent AOC screen on which you can't SEE the settings and even when you do, you can't find the button to move from option to option. There are only negative and positive buttons... stupid design. I would NOT recommend this model at all.

Second icon, the one with the display and the cross from arrows, is not enabled at my monitor... i cannot acces it... why?!

Mine doesnt even have this negative and positive. Its just one button which I turn on or off, also it auto-adjusts...
didnt help at all.
