I love Gungor! This is one of my all-time fav worship songs. My friend Gabe, who passed away shared this with me circa 2011. Thank you to Matt Gungor 🙏🏼 Praise the Lord!
I used to love this song and now I just hear the theological error in it. The Bible is the word of God, and the church his bride. So, let’s believe in every word the Bible shares about Who He is, when we say we cannot keep Him in the Bible, we can infer that the Bible isn’t enough to reveal God, it is. The Bible is enough.
When he says "we cannot keep it in the Bible" it is a way of explaining that our faith in Jesus must be shared around us... So we as Christians must not only keep Jesus in our hearts or in our churches on the other hand we must reveal him to the nations through our testimony and through evangelization... So what is said in the music is not an error of doctrine or an error of theology....
we must take into account the context of the lyrics of this music before claiming that it is a theological error...Peace and Divine Grace to you and your family in the name of Jesus ✝️
It’s a beautiful worship song. Music has metaphors. It’s not a sermon. Makes perfect spiritual sense to me. He’s not limited to the book, he is always with us when he lives in our hearts, everywhere we go! 🙏🏼
