I get goosebumps everytime I hear "with the full force of a dying star". Shit hits so damn hard to me.

Dustin does piano, keyboard, vocals and production, and lyrics. They are now self managed. Dustin takes care of the creative side and Ron (bass) takes care of the business side.

    He sings "Endlessly endeavor
, This is finding infinity". And on the Horizons album there is the song "This Endless Endeavor". Nice artefacts though all the songs

Rob Graves, producer of the band Red worked with Dustin on this album. Great band to check out too.

It's so interesting to hear lyrics like "I will let the science bring the change" in the first album, which sounds so hopeful and uplifting, and then in the last album he sings "Oh my God" (in Something Wicked) as if all the hope vanished over the course of those 4 albums.

Not exactly. Something Wicked is a song about depression and mental war within a person. This song is about finding someone in another location/time/dimension. So here only science can help🙃

@@dustrose8101 Dustin seems to have a very Jungian grasp on what he would believe both God and science are in the grand scheme of things. I tend to believe, neither the OP nor you guys' comments are wolly correct or incorrect, but collectively the big idea. I spend a lot of time thinking over Dustin's lyricism and most songs have three very intentional meanings that I can find. The interpersonal, the scientific, and the divine. Titling his album from Downplay "The Human Condition" is about all the salt you need to take my word for.

You're not wrong with what you said about autotune, but it also could be because it could also fit the vibe and atmosphere of the song. It's meant to sound electronic and atmospheric and imo I think it helps fit into the song more than just raw vocals. That's at least the case on the first album and a few songs imo.

I believe Dustin writes and produces all of their music! Horizons is their last record with their label and then they’re going independent. If you wanna check out his solo project MNQN, it’s a synth wave/EDM style. But yes he is a volcano of creativity when it comes to making music🤘🏼

@@viniciuslourenzettiferreira no they just aren't working with that label anymore (fearless records) because they felt they were being restricted
