This one is shaping up to be my favorite Tardis mod. The Minecrafty aesthetic nails it in a way I haven't seen in many other mods in general

I like this interpretation this mod has used! The tardis construction is really interesting. Its main contender is the New TARDIS Mod, which is based off of an older version. It's got a lot of similar features but I'm liking the aesthetic of this one more.
This mod is made by some of the devs of the new tardis mod
I like New Tardis Mod much better honestly, there are more mechanics and components, and the Tardis in New Tardis Mod itself handles much more lively, of course harder but better because of it.
not bad. covered the basics. couple things you missed i think but they arent so obvious. console can be "crafted" by using an iron block on the configurator which will place a console of the displayed type in front of it. the "custom" console is called the "Nuka" and is a fallout reference, hence the vending machine. hope you do a follow up video for the next major versions when they release ;)
Ye that's the plan!! This mod is awesome and I'm looking forward to what the developers are doing so I'm going make sure to do more videos!!
the vending isn't actually for the nuka, but their is a planned one to sort of match
also fun fact: vending machine was added cus they didn't wanna use the cutesy little exterior icons, so it was made to force them into the mod

The TARDIS mod from 1.7.10 is still my favorite mod, but this one looks promising. If the room expansion ends up anything like that mod then this one could easily replace it.

i hope there will be modularity in there, basicly bieng able to add any hallway, corridors or rooms that you want, which allows you to configure and or customise even further your TARDIS.

Really interesting take on "growing" a TARDIS!
Nicely in-between TARDIM and New TARDIS Mod in terms of Minecrafty-ness, the models might need refining a bit to avoid texture glitches, but otherwise are fantastic, the larger interiors remind me of the TARDIS plugin (which I love) and overall it is an awesome-looking mod! I will give it a go!

Having a little pocket dimension to put different creations in would be an amazing and smoother alternative to compact machines for modpacks.
Keep it up man all I have to say is the voice sounds like your holding back I understand its gonna take time but I just wanted to point it out might help to take this into your thoughts
Im really liking this, the main thing i like about this vs the other is the transporting isn't annoying in this one, BUT i dont play 1.19 so that's a bummer for me
i wish i could combine this with the regeneration mod, i think that would be so cool
The Regeneration Mod plans to add special compatibility with this mod in their future versions.

Man this is sick, but if I could add one thing, Add an actual chameleon curcuit, dont know how, but main idea is to let the tardis become matching to its encironment, like it turns into a tree.
Wasn't there a massive Doctor who themed mod from around 2014? It had an online following and had a few controversies as far as I remember. I was a big fan of it way back when.
I am always impressed with Minecraft Modder's designs. It's a shame they don't get together and create games from scratch. They'd take over the market!

Do you think you would be able to get lost inside the tardise like in the show, I think dieing inside the tardise from hungry and resporning outside or at the original console would be cool

everytime i take off i dont know how to land i even tried hitting the throttle again and it didnt work and the console overheated and i cant fly the tardis for a while
what do i do if i broke my tardis? (idk myself how i broke it, i just lifted off and did not land for 3 minutes, now i cant touch controls, pls help)
I'm having a bit of an issue, whenever I place down a console anywhere, I don't know how to get rid of it, is there a way I can get rid of it?
What's a "greoning?" Google doesn't give any results, and it thinks that I misspelled "Groening."
Also, what does the "ARS Egg" do?
Groening is the name of a person that the exterior pays homage to. The ARS Egg has no functionality yet, but is planned to be part of a future feature.
@@50ap5ud5 If the name is an homage, then it's spelled wrong in the mod. As I said in my original comment, it's spelled with the "e" before the "o."
i think if you could type the cords instead of spam clicking them would make the mod 1000x better

And can you Dimension hop with the TARDIS? As in go to the Nether and the End?
Would be cool if it replaces Minecraft portals as the transition method but you need to upgrade your TARDIS to get there.
Dimension travel is planned, this pre release version was a tech demo so not feature complete. 1.20 support is planned, but keep in mind it isn't even released yet lol.
How do you repair a broken tardis when you crash it
i would love to see a doctor who mod using imursive portals. i just think it would look cool
They're planning to add immersive portals support in the next update so I'd stay tuned for that!

how do i travel trough dimensions? when i access computer bank, there is gps and destination, how can i change dimension where i am going?
It is a future feature that is coming in later versions.

Yes, in the next update. The current version is an early pre release so is not feature complete.
Does anyone know how to go negative in the coordinate system inside the tardis

Have you made sure to have the right modloader installed? (I.e forge for the forge version and fabric the fabric version) also the mod is only available for 1.19.2 as of now
@@OriTitan yes i have the right modloader, its just ive tried and it isnt there i'm not sure what to do

why'd they make it grow from an egg?
I assume that is a reference to Journey to the Center of the TARDIS, where a fabricator tree is shown in one of the many rooms that is capable of fabricating literally anything you want. It spawns egg like objects which are implied to be the generic seeds for stuff.
i think thus mod had it's 1.1 release
how do you install the mod?
there is both forge and fabric version so once you have installed what ever modloader you want you just put the mod in your mods folder, if this doesn't help much you should google on how to install the mods cos that'll be a lot more helpful than me
Is it possible to play this mod on a phone?
No this mod is only available for the Java edition of Minecraft
even if java was on phone ill bet GETTING the mod itself is the hard part
FAQ:
- no doesn't work on Bedrock
- no can't be backported to versions before 1.19.2
There's the DALEK mod for older versions (it actually has way more than TARDISes)
But can you use it for Minecraft 1.20
I was about to say that this mod is better than TARDIS Engineers, until I realized that there is no new dimensions added by the mod, no TARDIS emotions, and no manual flight.
The developers of Tardis Refined are intentionally not following the exact same features as other mods. It plans to focus on the Tardis exclusively, including features such as the manual flight events, but won't be adding new dimensions at this time.
my terraformer does nothing
kinda disappointing, i was expecting it to have seamless portals into the tardis like that really old tardis mod so it'd really feel bigger on the inside
It's good to remember that the version showcased is an early pre release as mentioned clearly by the mod developers. In fact, the developers have shown that the next version of the mod adds compatibility with Immersive Portals so not to worry.
