Woah, that's incredible that she plays her compositions by memory. Village of Zoah is beautiful and really unique.
And also, how surreal as a composer to have these compositions live on, when at the time, it probably didn't feel like they would. But that's the power of video games and immersion.
Ah Zoah, the only real taste of greater living civilisation we get to actively explore with the Panzer Dragoon universe. The music to this town always felt cultured and alive in both districts, a stark contrast to most of the rest of the world we're given the pleasure of exploring. Saori is a treasure and I could listen to her talk about her life, music and involvement with the Panzer Dragoon series all day every day; a series that would have felt completely different without her stunning and unique compositions. Thanks once again for these videos, they are a real treat and your work is of the highest quality.
I love you Saori Kobayashi. Thank you for filling my soul with so many fond memories.
English and Portuguese subtitles are available under the "CC" menu.

My favorite part about music from that era was how experimental producers were with sound and hardware
Goosebumps! Village of Zoah is such a beautiful, melancholic piece!
My favorite village/town in any video game, the music in both districts is phenomenal. I really like all the inhabitants like Paet, Radgam, Aldo, Abner, Bezer, Quitor & his daughter.
I forgot Jubas & Jael
Yes! I'd spend hours just wandering around and soaking in the atmosphere, same for the Holy District too. God I love this game and its soundtrack.
I don't comment much, but these are amazingly made. Thank you.
Orta's soundtrack is my favorite game soundtrack of all time.
Orta was the most relatable of the 4 too.
I cried.
God, that performance got me.
Beautifully shot
Outstanding.
sega is in some financial strife, fans have been begging for classic ip to be revived ik there was the remake that bombed hard but there is still a chance to revive the panzer dragoon brand, bringing saga to modern platforms is something many would like given the nature of saturn emulation or how difficult it is to acquire the physical game itself
The Remake didn't bomb. It was launched prematurely on Switch and badly needed a patch update, which the dev's eventually provided. The game has gone on to single handedly quadrouple their revenue stream as of this year. And since its launching on multiple platforms now, it has the potential to do even better.
@@voiceofamos the patches fixed some stuff.
Did I say THANK YOU?
I love it! 💙
These vids are awesome!
My saga was Panzer Dragoon Orta - xbox.
Mine too.
Always loved this piece. Why so few views??
Please add a Russian translation:
Это может прозвучать пафосно, но Panzer Dragoon изменила моё отношение к музыке.
Думаю тогда я поступила правильно, ступив на эту тропу.
В то время я об этом не думала, мне просто хотелось сочинять интересную музыку.
Но теперь, спустя 20 лет, когда столько людей во всём мире полюбили эти произведения,
когда вышли диски и некоторые получили одобрение критиков...
Я вдруг осознала, что выбрала правильный путь в музыке.
Added, thank you!
too bad that speech at the beginning disqualifies this excellent performance from inclusion in any of my playlists
