the man is a genius and gifted beyond all belief only wish i could have worked with him
I LOVE APP, but AP is always fascinating to listen to.
When he talks, I listen 👍
One Of The True Legendary Songwriters And The Alan Parsons Project Was Part Of My Childhood. Eye In The Sky. What A Great Song.
Preciously !
All Alan Parsons Project music set the score for my lifetime. It still is a constant companion and always will be.
A legend! Alan Parsons: “Audiophiles don’t use their equipment to listen to music. Audiophiles use your music to listen to their equipment”
Alan's a musical genius. 2020 and still and always listen to and love his music.
Spot on sista 👍
Met Alan a few times when he was on tour in the late 90s. Very polite guy, generous with his time w/ fans. Just a CLASS guy. Same goes for Ian Bairnson & Stuart Elliot who were with him.
his music is a very big part of my childhood memory :) 🙇🏻
In 1982 I was a 21yr old working in Saudi Arabia, I brought Eye in the Sky album when I was there, I would often wonder through the desert with my Sony Walkman listening to eye in the sky album. I'm now sixty years old and wise, and have enjoyed a life time of the Alan Parsons project music, wonderfully adored, thanks for it all AP.
Can’t top this one. Love Alan’s work, he has made some of the best albums ever.
Fabulous interview. I appreciate that the interviewer got out of the way of this fascinating guy. He asks his questions and then wonder of wonders, actually listens.
I am the eye in the sky, looking at this interview.
....I can read your mike ....🤣👍

Absolutely Crucial and Priceless Knowledge from A MASTER OF MUSIC , in All Fields. Thanks Sweet water and Mr Parson!
3 days ago I saw Alan Parsons Project in Denver, Colorado. It was a fantastic evening listening to his music live. We bought his new music collection as a signed box set of a CD, DVD, AND Record Album. Looking forward to listening to the new songs.
Thank you for a very good night of seeing you live with my husband, daughter, and granddaughter. Your music is enjoyed by new generations. I hope you continue to heal from your back surgery.
I can honestly say, I don't think APP has done a bad album yet.
Always something different, but still with that always crisp APP sound.
Agreed! Curious, which one is your favourite? I can't decide between I Robot and The Turn of a Friendly Card.
The APP sound is a cut above the rest.
Really interesting, and very good questions.
Never thought Alan would build his mix that way (bass and drums after the guitars and stuff).
Many many years ago, I am assuming from this that AP doesn't live in England anymore, he used to come with his wife to the restaurant that I was head chef in. I never knew at the time just how famous he was, but he always made time for a couple of chef fans who sat down with him and talked music. A chef, but also a published songwriter myself (I thought wrongly of the world of money pouring from the sky), he kindly invited me to his house and studio in Kent/Sussex where as he said I gave 'a little push' to songs I had written. He didn't bite!!! How I would love the opportunity to sit down again with him and say 'Hey G'vnor I've got this song, what do you think?' The great thing about Alan Parsons is that he loves hits and he can hear one at one hundred yards. Then it's just a question of putting all the pieces of the puzzle together in the right order.
Thank you for continue making music the way you’ve always done it.
Alan you are simply the best
The album that Alan never talks about in his interviews is “Year of the Cat”. I would love to hear him talk about it more.
Alan is, in my mind, bigger and much better than just passed Morricone. Professionals knows him well but He is very under regarded by big audience.
Wow. Had no idea he did Year of the Cat. Brilliant.
Thank you for this! Great insights, so wise. Big Love for Mr. Alan Parsons.
Can't wait for the live show Alan is working on now!
APP wasn't a solo Alan Parsons Project. Let's not forget Eric Woolfson's massive contribution.
One of the greatest Prog-Rock Artists Ever
Mister cool It is blatantly obvious that truly competent people keep things simple and focused. No superfluous or filler in Mr. Parsons approach to his projects. I have been a fan since my teen age years.
Alan my name is Felix im from montreal i was 19 when my father made me discover your music. 11 years ago . Ive been a huge fan since then. i bouth all the vinyl and cd. i went to see you in concert in montreal in marsh 2015 . my favorite album is Eve. I also really love Freudiana . I wish i could use this soundtrack for a movie im making. there is not a day i dont have one of your song in my head. Stay safe .
A humble Intelligent man.
He should OWN the GRAMMYS, Maybe they would be GOOD. Being (believable ) is the IT FACTOR on what Makes an ARTIST !
An absolute musical genius.Love Alan Parsons!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Awesome.
He’s such a great musician👍👍
Great questions..
LEGEND
I love his music and he is one of the best producers like trevor horn
😁🤘
"Make the drums sound better" -classic McCartney vagueness.
he never got the recognition he deserved
yes in austin power
I can see the children of the moon came by to watch this interview as well
INDEED....💗
Can't believe this bloke's gonna turn 80 in four years from now! :O From what it seems he's still got his own hair colour. I've never ever seen a video or a pic in which he's got grey outgrow. On his cheeks it's clearly grey, but apart from that.... Wow. I'm turning 40 next year, so almost half the age of Alan and I'm already starting to turn grey as ****, haha. Guess it's his DNA. ;) Let's watch this video. I'm sure it's gonna be great. :)
He must be fed up having to tell those stories again and again and again!
especially to a guy who seemed rather flakey about the whole event ... not quite a master interviewer... keep working on it, mate
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! :D
EMI. A name I haven't seen since I was a lad.
All Giants under 1 sky. I must be either dreaming, or be in heaven. Either way I am extremely lucky to witness it. *Reality (Heaven or Hell) must be place in The Heart. ❤
Pink Floyd and Beatles, did they use metronome on studio sessions?
I was curious how many gallons that fish tank is? I have fish like that as well.
I left you a long message for you! It's
important that your people find it!
Not sure where!!!!!! "JUST DO IT"
OKAY 😊
The minute long intro felt like 60
I've been infatuated with this man since I was a teenager. Does anyone know how I may at least send him an email?
Пинк флойд....Был такой Патерсон Флойд.
Wait, so it would have been Parsons who was responsible for the synchronicity then...
Great hearing from Alan Parsons, but you really need to drop your interviewing crutch of saying, "Right, right..." after every answer. Just ask your next question.
Alan can lead into the next question but hes not being permitted to, as these are too scripted. Shame, some passages fall flat and the interviewer seems disinterested in wht hes just been told! Someone like AP can just talk, explain something, then it can lead to an unscripted question.
yes interviewer dude seemed very disinterested .. i dont think this is his calling
I'm a composer..let me write an intro for your channel. Feel free to use my music.
heavily auto tuned? Amen Alan... music today isn't musical anymore.... millennials will ever know good music unless they dig backwards.
Some millennials are 40.
Alen your saltwater aquarium needs a little lift up,,,sorry but it is true
that sums things up really
Legend.
