4:58 The fact that the first “real” build in the sims 4 was a marvelous replication of Brandi Broke’s home from TS2 and he didn’t know it disappoints me. Satch, that build was amazing. I know it’s not the best build ever, but considering it was based off an EA build, they did phenomenal. The pool was a bit big though.
Give them the "always welcome"trait and you want have that problem with them cooking and sleeping at other people's homes

2:16 Oh I remember the time before those firefighters. My sim set his apartment on fire and just panicked. I hoped that eventually he'd extinguished it on his own, but nope, he went ahead and died by fire. Then the Grim Reaper came, but due to fire he ran to safety and panicked. The fire lasted so long that when it was out, the Grim Reaper just stood there and did nothing.
Kind of reminds me the glitch in The Sims 3 where if another sim dies at the time Grim Reaper is leaving, the Grim Reaper will never come back and the body of the sim will forever be there while other sims mourn them forever. In addition, another sim dying won't make the Grim Reaper come either.
Also, 4:43 reminds me of the Broke house in The Sims 2 Pleasantville. Yes, the pool without ladder...

So glad I watched this! I thought I was the only one who spent hours in CAS and build/buy then spent 5 minutes in game play and either shut down or start again with another Sim!
I'm the exact opposite. I randomize two sims, put them in a pre-built home and then start playing forever xD Hence why I like the sims 3 much much more than the sims 4... Sims 4 looks awesome, but the gameplay is kinda boring.

no wrong way to play the Sims! I like to do the same and make them houses as well, so I now focus on filling the worlds with sims I make myself. so if I do have an urge to do some actual gameplay, I see a lot of my own sims everywhere
5:04 is literally my cat everytime he uses the litterbox. It's unsettling that he never breaks eye contact with me whenever he does his business in there. The ultimate power move.
It's very easy to get rid of that «This is inappropriate. Please stop» thing. Just buy the «Always welcome» reward. It costs only 500 satisfaction points.
The bassinet blocking the route to fight the fire can be solved easily with the T.O.O.L. mod. It allow you to move ANY object anytime to anywhere you want, even Sims.
My first build in the Sims didn't look like that at all. It was a 4 floors, 4 basements monstrosity taking almost all of a 30x40 lot where the bathroom was larger than that whole house. It had a 3 lanes bowling in the living room.
Those seagulls give me flashback of the original Descent. Same poly count.

I recently downloaded one or too many mods.. which ended in this AWFUL bug where… literally EVERY SIM in the ENTIRE neighbourhood.. would come to my sims house and just…. make themselves at home.. use the bed, take a bubble bath, cook a meal etc.
My sim went on and said “GET OUT” to all of them and now the entire neighbourhood hates him. They didn’t leave until I figured out which mod it was and deleted it lol.
I’m always giving Alexander a cc makeover when he ages up.

What you said about how Simmers play the game at the end is definitely me, kinda, but I do the creating a family, usually taking hours to do it, because I want them to look unique and more real, plus I like to give each Sim 5 everyday outfits and some different Athletic outfits, like one with a t-shirt/ tank, with shorts, and one with sweat pants, then sweat pants and a hoodie or sweat shirt/sleeve pullover, then a few different outfit for sleeping too, some for when it's cold and some when it's hot! And I also like to sometimes find hair that can be used for sleep hair, and sometimes even swimming hair! And by the time I am done with the Sims, it's too late for me to build a house, so I stick them on a lot, and wait until the next day to make the house!
Then I take another whole day creating the house, then I also might take time to give the adults jobs, pick beds and PC for them, possibly give them a few traits, with MCCC of course, and then I quit, and I may wait a few days, while watching RUclips videos, and then go back to the game and start all over again!
I have found that for the most part I prefer making Sims and building houses/buildings, more then I do playing in Live mode, which is very sad! Because the game play usually screws up whatever I had planned for the Sims I made, so I just naturally, without even realizing it, just come up with an excuse to start over with making new Sims and a house for them or sometimes I just build a house without the Sims!

Well, I do say that "I'm crazy, not stupid". I only have one save file with all my SIMS I've created and just rebuild lots as I feel like it. I haven't touched it in a while though because my life has been too insane to really let me want to play, so I just watch other channels to get my fix now, and then it makes me feel like I've wasted a lot of money on the packs that I DO have... My life is a no win situation apparently. 😞

I 'new save' crazily. It's like you either have a really old save that you never do a new save or you have a bunch of new saves. I even have to put delete on my new saves because oftentimes it's just because I'm trying out new mods. :)
my sim was literally dying from hunger and I couldn't cook cause stupid Travis Scott kept yelling at me so I had to steal from his garden
I guess I am the 2% of simmers that keeps one save and keeps it going and evolving on it, I could not start over again from scratch, also I play with no aging so everyone stays the same age forever unless I say so lol

My first sims house is worse. It was a very very big box with no roof. No windows. No landscaping, no wallpaper outside and made for an 8 sim household with every single lifestage I could make in CAS

I don't like my sims dying so make sure they have a death flower in their inventory, just in case. I do, however, make families/sims with random generated names to kill just so I can have decent graveyards. 🤔🤷♀
The first time I got the realm of magic I was playing with my spell caster and I had kidnapped someone I then went up to there room planing on killing them so I used the fire spell and the room was small so everyone was set on fire instantly and the door was locked as I last hope I called the fire the department but all the fire department did was call the fire department again and by then my had died

Does anyone know how to fix "You don't have access" problem on EA? They keep telling me that it was another user that owns the game and to log in to a different account. I'm the only one using my laptop. I'm still using the same account.
