I know it's just a game but the storylines sometimes. "Help we're being attacked". Whole facility is wiped out. What do we do? I know, lets send one guy with no equipment lol

@@ShadowsFateOfficial so what does demo mean to you? Demo to me is here's a short piece of our finished game to try before you buy. Early access is here play/buy our game, we're still working on it but we need money to finish it.
If we don't all use the same terms for the same things then we can't communicate.
Feels like it used to be almost every game had a demo version. Play to this point or play for a certain amount of time but the games were finished.
Then came Early Access, which is a crapshoot for gamers and great thing for devs. Gamers might get a good game or it might be abandoned. Devs can make all the promises they want to get gamers to buy and not have to keep them.
Do what jave they come up with now?

This is the closes thing to Dino Crisis for me just for me
it's funny how none of the dinos are ever hungry, they just seem to kill someone and never eat them, as if that would happen in RL, you'd be coming across partly eaten bodies all over the place, and probably scavengers eating the rest
Yeah, the game needs bits of legs, hands, bones laying around instead of full bodies.

I would develop compy behavior in homage to the chickens from zelda; whatever else may occur with the compy AI I'd make it imperative, never to hunt one to completion; only boot them out of the way or wing them to limp away but never finish one off, unleashing a cohesive wave of wall-to-wall chest-deep vengeance, spawning compys from the rafters.

At the beginning, the spore flower as you called is a real flower. It is one of several types of flowers with the nick name corpse flower if remember correctly. On account they smell much like a rotting corose.

Some people think it's a carnivorous plant (like Venus Fly Trap,) but that's incorrect. R. arnoldii is a parasite flower which gets all its nutrients from feeding on another plant: Tetrastigma vines. They're extremely rare and nobody has ever been able to get one to bloom in captivity. I'm not sure one has every been grown at all in captivity. They're absolutely crazy.
The giant flower in the beginning house area is a real flower, and that's actual size. Apparently smells like a rotting corpse to attract the flies it needs for procreation.

the "headless" thing is probably their fix for the camera-shows-the-inside-of-your-head glitch that's common in switching between 1st/3rd person views

I totally picture this in VR. The scare factor, plus the immersive experience 🤯. I don’t get these survivors. You’d think they’d wanna them up, to defeat a common enemy, but instead they’re trying to kill you. But then again, like all survival games/scenarios, the biggest enemy is always the people instead of the zombies etc

btw. Its not a spore, its rafflesia. Its a flower, but its stink. It eat bug. It grow on cold-warm condition, near mountain. You find it on asian country like brunie, malaysian, indonesian, thailand, philiphines and so on. Malaysian and Indonesian are the most common and you can find alot of them, different species. It bloom on short time, and you have to waith for another year.

2:43 Looks like a rafflesia flower. That's it, just a flower: no roots, stems, or leaves. It's a parasitic plant that grows on the roots of trees.

Now GE has a loot goblin radar, no need to look around for all the things. He can spam it like crazy to full fill is loot goblin tendencies. Game looks ok so far. Not a fan of the over the shoulder Third person camera though. If you go Third Person camera it needs to be centered and have the ability to zoom out some.
Yes GE, They are jumping on you. Dont'cha member at the beginning your boots have a universal pheromones on them. They jump on you and when they realize you don't have a nu-nu, then they attempt to kill you cause you tricked them. *Laughs*
Game looks interesting except-to me, at least, it looks foggy. Even in the buildings. Looks like morning fog. My eyesight is not great so that removes any chance of me playing. BTW, those Rapters? Pack hunters-one would distract you and the others come in from the sides and back, not that one-at-a-time crap. Feral dogs do the same-they send one in to whine and be friendly while the pack comes in from all sides for the Kill.

Personally not a fan of the player “intuition” button where you’re constantly hitting it to see if you miss stuff… makes games very unrealistic imo

I think this is one of those games made for HDR monitors only, it really looks bad on my normal monitor, every shadow is flat black in what seems to look like a sunny day with decent size clear windows... they really have to ease off on that AO or HDR settings , or just hire someone that can do lighting better if they want more audience.

Game looks good but I dont like the camera angle on the car and its really dark and the item indicators are so hard and so small to see
Seems alright, but there are way to many guys trying to kill you. Not sure why and not enough dinos period. Good concept of game but more content is needed for the full release.
