  • I was looking for a waterproof strobe that can double as a floating flashlight. Neither quite met my expectations but here is how they stacked up.
    UST SplashFlash Glo: amzn.to/2GXHMww
    ACR C-Strobe H2O: amzn.to/2GBv07S
Please comment if you come across a emergency strobe that can double as a floating flashlight.

I own four of these splash flash flashlights.. I picked them up years ago for a decent price at the now defunct"Eastern mountain sports"
I purchased the yellow ones so if I drop them in the woods I can spot it.. I have a couple in my bug out bag and in my get home bag in my vehicle.. they work great for an area light for hiking/camping.. and hang it in your tent for an area light.. I installed Eveready ultimate lithium batteries in all my splash flash flashlights.. they last much longer than alkaline.. LITHIUM DOES NOT LEAK.. lithium batteries have a 10-year shelf life.. and they work well in cold conditions.... No it does not float but you can attach it to one of those floats that you hook on your keys for boating... Hook it on your life preserver...

It would be more logical to get a good torch and a led strobe or lazer tuned to the heat range of the spectrum
