Tommy thanks for sharing with us yet another informative video. I wonder if you could share something about gun violence in Cal? Is it serious? Is it common for people to own a gun? Is this an issue that people should concern about for anyone who is considering moving to the US? Thanks a lot.
Gun control is a very controversial subject in the US. I guess you need to understand why majority of Americans support gun rights-it is meant to protect each of us from government overreach. Of course that leads to more problems of gun violence. Freedom always comes with a cost, that's something all immigrants should consider for themselves. California is one of the states with the lowest gun ownership. To be honest with you, when I first moved here to study, I would often stare at the door thinking a shooter might come in. Bomb threats (mostly fake because kids don't want to go to school) are common in school. Now I don't see that as a big concern, especially in where I live.
