i have great friends and honestly an overall very decent life, but sometimes i can't help but wonder what it would be like if the world was a desolated, sterile wasteland. i don't ever want to actually experience that of course, but the thought of it still relaxes me very much.
This ambient made me so emotional... Made me realize how much I care for someone just because how immensely I miss them

Oh humanity, with all these modern communication technology that was supposed to bring you more together, the feeling of loneliness has only increased.
Ironic how surrounded by people you feel so lonely and isolated....
Where did it all go wrong?
It probably has to do with the fact that social media is a conglomeration of people who like to post about what types of things they own or what experiences they have, this can cause jealously, self-hatred, or just a sense of inferiority due to the lack of "sameness" especially since the social world is subconsciously seen as a competing ground and who has the most notability in it. For example, some people feel spite towards others when they post about buying expensive items they can only dream about, or even if it's just some jealousy towards someone who's far more attractive than you. Since technology has us more connected than ever, it's easier to understand your actual worth in the social world, this truth causes the feeling of "empty" undertones, as if you don't even matter after being exposed to the millions who have it way better than you.
Perspective
I like to think that social media reveals to people how little do they care about a world, they want something closer and more intimate, something that connects with them much better.
This makes prior times sound better because people weren't aware of the world at all or at least not to the magnitude the Internet, TV or a radio reveals it, but I'm sure the feeling of loneliness is basically the same. Everyone always has a desire for a lover, friend or a partner, just to connect with someone, and this is a timeless feeling regardless of the era. It's probably seen with better clarity nowadays.
Working together or even yourself is hard and the "modern world" and meedja bombardment gives you the illusion that you can do anything, be anything, know anything easily ... or change town, friends, employees and family members as if they were dirty socks. It's a deadly illusion.
Where did it all go wrong? The moment that first creature left the ocean for land.
Quiet fitting for this day and age.

This is an interesting mix, there's a lot of variety. I was expecting a darker/creepier atmosphere, but I'm definitely enjoying this. There's a kind of underlining unrest beneath the otherwise peaceful textures. It's like Silent Hill on vacation, lol

I don't know how to describe this feeling, but once you realize how hard it becomes to do everyday tasks as your life flies by you, you really feel like your mind has went against you, that voice in the back of your mind reminding you that you are a human, weak, emotional. It becomes hard to get up in the morning. It becomes hard to be happy, and feeling bitter and angry all the time just makes me think, how did I get here?
Seeing the artists in this mix already makes me excited ❤️
"House Of Tinctures" 07:09 perfectly goes with one of those long & still David Lynch shots - "lonely traffic light at night in the middle of nowhere" as in Twin Peaks.

This is a good sound for practising being alone. Even when one has a relationship in every possible way. Every soul is alone with its' deepest thoughts, desires, fears, pleasures, dreams, nightmares, inconveniences, pros' and cons. Every living thing is trapped in its' own physical cage with or without flaws and with its' own mental state of being. Those who want to be alone never share these things (is it?) ...... those who don't want to be alone share some, or almost all of them ..... almost ..... One is born alone, with a reincarnated soul and will eventually 'die' alone .... richer in knowledge than before! Learned lessons .... or not!
Some people need to be alone a longer time than others and the context usually doesn't agree with them. I am almost never alone and I long to be... Maybe because I'm an introvert 😁

I keep thinking your early period of mixes was best. But it was a bit too drone-ie. The later 2018-2020 stuff was a bit too watery and post-era. Seemed to get too formulaic. But 2017 was a magic year. The best Cryochamber mixes are from that year, in my opinion.
Subtle, well-crafted, balanced, moody and very stimulating. Almost unconsciously sublime.

You're not going to die alone. By the way, even if you are going to be alone for the rest of your life, that doesn't mean it's a bad thing. When you are alone or in the midst of solitude, you learn things about yourself that you wouldn't learn when you're socializing or being part of a group. You need to be alone to understand who you truly are. You are unique as a solitary individual. They can't take that away from you. Savour your uniqueness. Commit to being introverted, introspective and learn more about your strengths. Instead of socializing, you could read a book and educate yourself more about the world.
I like being (living) alone. I find it like I'm somewhat 'standing out' from the crowd. Most of my friends, with whom I have very good relations, already have families or are at least married, whereas I'm neither. I don't have to go on any compromises with other people who might live with me. My home is my own and noone else's. And it's not necessarily an easy mode. Imagine being sick .. who will take care of You then? I need to look after myself all the time .. still worth it if You ask me. Dying? Nah, not interested, not anymore. I ain't gonna die. EVER.
In the end all of us die alone. We alone have to take this last and first step. May you take this step of the steps filled with content and joyous thankfullness for the many fine companions and experiences that enrichened this one and truly only-your journey. May these Memories will come into your existence! :)
