My only advise is to shoot both with your weak and dominant foot.
Half of my goals last year came from my left foot
This will help you way too much in positioning so you don't waste time for the ball to be in the perfect place for your dominant foot.

I got the confidence before but it went down when i missed the header in a corner when it was final. It was like 1 inch from the left post and the goalkeeper didnt had a good placement. And i still missed it. I remember i was so frustrated and that was when my confidence went down:(
