Allowing the designer to shine was one thing, but to let the make up artist also pop her sh*T was such a queen thing for Nicki to do. She was absolutely best dressed and its because she allowed her team to take full control and let them do what they know how to do best. Kudos to everybody involved in this beautiful masterpiece of an execution.

You can tell Nicki truly appreciates fashion when she allows the designer to shine! She understands that it's not about her but about their artistry. That's witnessing a genuine legend, not just some random celebrity attitude.

I love the idea of not just wearing a floral dress but making the flowers literally pop off the dress. The construction is genius for the Met.
The look is so iconic and really fits Nicki’s personality perfectly. The way she always stays true to herself really makes her out shine everyone else. Marni designed the dress so perfectly it will never be able to be topped.

Latisha’s makeup was perfect and really pulled everything in to look so natural… the look was extravagant, but the makeup really zoned in and humbled it in the best way. I don’t see a lot of people talking about how the sustainability of the dress and how it aligns with the theme so well. The dress GIVES garden in time and helps that same garden too. We love that 😭🩷
