Killing Trevor is the most realistic ending in my opinion. Professional criminals like Michael ultimately wouldn't tolerate the risk that a rabid dog like Trevor brings, history or not. Ending C is fantasy wish fulfillment in my opinion. They cleanly eliminate all their enemies in one go and skip merrily into the sunset. Give me a break. Gta 4 had a way more gritty, realistic crime story. No matter what, Niko's life and choices bring consequences to those he cares about.

Trevor played a part in Johnny's demise but it was Ashley who was mainly responsible for it. In the end she really did become the death of Johnny. He should of picked the Bike.

That's why option A ending (killing trevor) is the best option for me in GTA 5. Serve him right for killing my boy Johnny.
