Really good! I'm in 7th grade and I got to play bari during a pep rally yesterday! I managed to stand out and be louder than all the other saxophones! I was huffing and puffing though. Can't wait to start marching on bari during high school!
I love this video and I love what y’all are doing The only thing I don’t like is how y’all hold yalls saxes We hold ours parallel to the ground and we’re the only people in my area that does it like that So whenever I see a band that holds the saxes like y’all do I always get weirded out But you sound amazing Keep up the good work dude You’re making us proud
@@shibe.mp4 by parallel to the ground I meant the whole instrument How we hold ours is basically the instrument looks as if you set it down The bell isn’t pointing at the ground and the mouth piece isn’t pointing at the sky Our bells point in front of us and mouthpieces point behind us It’s as if you just take the playing position but just rotate the instrument 90 degrees instead of rotating
Happened with my baritone. We set them down for one of our movements and the person who stands in front of me stepped backwards and it scraped across the floor.
@@benzero5358 sounds more like your bands fault, all instruments have a possibility of getting stepped on it's just cause the bari and bass clarinet are long 🙄
Bari Sax Gang 🎷
Marching those nice horns holy
I’d be scared to do that

My school holds ours parallel to the ground, I don’t know any band that doesn’t, so I guess it just depends on your area
thanks, glad you like the video! should be said tho that we did hold it parallel to the ground, the camera is just tilted at a funny angle

@@shibe.mp4 you’re good bro great performance too
That ground look mighty uncomfortable
I fell like almost every high school band in Texas marches BOA
Yeah it’s coming up in less than a month
New subscriber!
putting saxophones on the ground palm keys down is bad for the keys and may bend them
You know those 3 like long keys on the side of the bari? Yea one of those literally went to a "V" shape cause I put it down on a rock to hard
Also first 😉
Imagine accidentally kicking the Bari while it’s in the ground

It kept on happening so much at my school that we stopped marching bari’s and bass clarinets

Please don scratch them-
