I think this every single time i watch one of your videos -- you have such a sweet, sweet spirit and are so talented for one so young -- I'm old -- but -- it's not just your innate talent, I really believe you are a product of both nurture and nature -- family is so important to you, you were raised with so much love and it pours out of you into your work. I, too, love love love (and I'm 62!) Daphne's Diary -- but -- it's like the Stamperia Christmas paper pads, I cannot cut them up -- so -- what I do is go to the copy store and use their color copier onto light-weight card stock -- it's about 15 cents a page -- I don't do social media and don't always log into youtube, so I miss every single one of your journal sales -- but one of these days .... I would say I wish you all the luck in the world for your future endeavors -- but you don't need it -- you've put out so much positive light into the Universe, it is going to reflect back to you so many times over -- I'm serious about this -- you should contact MOMA in NYC -- they recently did a show about vintage clothing -- I embroidered on my jeans, too -- wish I had saved them, they said people are paying thousands for them -- but do a large piece of your fabric, lace and paper collage -- I bet they'd put it up -- the worst they can do is tell you no, and you'd be the same as where you started -- I see big things on the horizon for you, young lady -- I know all of your wonderful dreams will come true -- hugs -- Patricia
Oh, I believe this magazine was made for me! So so beautiful, I need to get me some.Thank you , you are a kindred spirit. We both love everything sweet and lovely! 🥰💖
Oooooo!!! I need this magazine! You simply cracked me up with how excited and distracted you'd get with every page turn. lol!! I could watch your ideas all day. Thank you for making this video!! Any time I see birds on paper I think "Oh Miss Amity would Love this!"
Haha yes I also crack up when I re-watch the video of how often I get distracted by pretty stuff 😂 Thank you so much for being so supportive of my youtube channel my dear friend! 😘
Loved your video! Just for your information: it's a Dutch magazine, just like Flow magazine 😀. We might not have great shops like Michaels, Walmart and Target, but we do have some great magazines 😉. X
Thank you Audrey! I had a feeling it was from another country but wasn't positive...I saw the UK written first and immediately thought it was from there. You guys definitely have amazing magazines!!! 😊
I stopped partway into the video, went straight to Joanne's and now am the proud owner of the latest edition! Yay!!! Thank you, thank you for the wonderful videos!
I love all the colorful flower designs created by The Pioneer Woman. I gave several of her dishes to loved ones for Christmas. I have purchased some of her placemats to make totes....really cool!
I am so blessed to have found you! I watched your "About me" video, as well, and I connected with so many things you shared. Additionally, your journals shown are lovely, and I think we would appreciate so many of the same artistic things. And where has Daphne's Diary been all my life? I can't wait to go to JoAnne's and try to find it this weekend! Thank you so much for sharing and for your vulnerability, your authenticity, and your sweet spirit. It is refreshing these days... Blessings! :)
I discovered Daphne's Diary a few years ago and love it. I've always been drawn to magazines because of their visual beauty. The original Victoria magazines were another one of my favorites because of its beauty. I only just recently started to cut apart some of my Daphne Diary mags because they were always too beautiful to cut up. After seeing how you use yours in your journal, I'll be doing lots more cutting.
I am in love with this magazine! I haven't heard of it, but I'm heading out tomorrow in search of it. Thank you so much for all the inspiration you give from your creations and videos!
Good news for you! You can have a subscription in the US. It's through expressmag.com If you go to the website of Daphne's Diary, choose subscription and select your country. Daphne's Diary is from The Netherlands, just like Flow. I just bought my first Daphne's Diary a few months ago and I too like it better than Flow. I have trouble using Flow for collage elements, but Daphne's Diary is like a big ephemera book. Love your video!
Hi Nazzy, I am in the UK and have never bought this magazine. I have seen it many times in my supermarket and passed it by. Your video has made me see the error of my ways and I'll be taking a little trip to get it tonight. Thanks so much, I adore your style and videos.
I was first drawn to the same issue that you where, and have been buying it ever since. I just love all of her wonderful pages full of inspiration :) I find it hard to actually cut the magazine up.. But I can photocopy the pages so I get the best of both worlds. Loving your creativity! All the best with your life. x
Hi Amity Bloom. As I am scrolling RUclips for junk journalist ideas, because I am new at this, I stumbled across your channel and such useful information. I suddenly realize that I have some of these magazines and others like these at Barnes and Noble, (Baltimore Harbor) some years ago. So I have a huge amount of these mags to use for journaling. I would have never thought to use them. I have my work cut out for me but, I thank you for sharing. I will subscribe!
I really love 💕 this magazine, the 1st one I was given, by my sister and I really love 💕 it. And I can get this locally in the UK 🇬🇧. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all. I really love 💕 your style.
Wish I had viewed your video before I got all excited and ordered online from overseas!!! I'll be purchasing from Barnes & Nobles or Joann's. Such a beautiful magazine
I 💜💜 this mag it's fantastic inspiration and iv been cutting it up for my glue book and journals, iv just stumbled on your channel and i adore your style thank you and God Bless you 🤗🤗
I love the Daphne's' Diaries too. We get it from W.H. Smith here in the U.K. I've never used the actual pages yet. I photocopy things that I really like and use them. With shiny paper you can use the Clear Gesso Matt to take shine of. I love yours Traveler's Notebook ideas.
I have only just discovered your channel! I've subscribed. You have really convinced me that I need to get this magazine. I watched a few other people do videos about it and now I think that i have to! I'm in the UK so I've walked past it loads of times! Thanks for the cool ideas, I really think this magazine will give me some great stuff to include in planner videos etc :-) have an awesome day! xxx
So inspired by your ideas. Subscribed right away. I was given some Flow, Breathe and Calm magazines the other day and I am very keen to make notebooks now. Thank you.
Yes that was my problem to in the beginning but I caved and have been so happy to see little pieces of the magazine in my journal and some even framed 💛
I'm now determined to buy all of these. I've been looking for alternative wall coverings, and I'd collage TF outta those posters all over a wall or ceiling. I've heard of Daphne's Diary before, but I didn't know these were available in the US! I'm seriously so excited. haha.
Oh my goodness Suzie what an amazing idea!! They will make super cute wall coverings and I personally love collaging them onto projects! You will love it 👍💛
I know I will! I'm really excited and I'm going to begin collecting them ASAP! Oh! And I looked into it, you can actually subscribe to them in the US and get a discounted rate via their website. Just something to think about!
I share the passion you have for the floral and birds and vintage. I would like to become pen pals. I will be looking for this magazine. Thanks sharing!
Hi Nazee, I stumbled across your videos a few days ago and am so glad that I did because I love your style!!! I can't wait to see more of your work! :)
Just discovered this video. Thanks so much! I've been curious about Daphne's Diary, and your flip is making me want to go Barnes and Noble ASAP! I completely agree with you about the quality of the paper - I don't like the shiny magazine paper. FYI, I just discovered a Somerset Magazine called Mingle that I'm liking - good photos - good quality paper. :)
I was wondering where everyone gets such lovely ephemera from and now I know. Even though it's not completely my style I thank you for the flip through because I saw a lot of things I would cut out and use. I'm definitely buying one!
That is so awesome!! You can also get ephemera from books, magazines, and even online on Pinterest you can print out free printables and use them over and over again!
I just got my first issue I absolutely love it.. Had the same idea as soon as I was going thru it. This one had little gift boxes. I got mine at Walmart. Any fussy cutting tips? Thanks
I have a subscription to Daphne's Diary (I'm in the UK) that I share with my Mum. We both read it and then I get to cut it up! I've had a few tissues of Flow, but I do prefer the look of Daphne's Diary and it fits my style better. I'm definetly going to use a plate or a dish to keep a supply of ephemera on my desk, it'll be so much prettier than the plastic box I'm currently using (and don't ask I had to wait to see yours to think of doing the same when I have so many lovely dishes around the house!)!
hi Louise can i ask can you also back issues i would really like number 1 2017. I also have Flow but its quite expensive and it was getting a little uninspiring for me that why i love Daphnes Diary. Thanks
Louise EMB hi can I ask can u buy it in shops in uk if so where can I get it from and how much it costs? just so beautiful or only subscribe thanks in advance
Hi, Cathleen. YOu can get it from WHSmiths and it's £5.99. It's abit more expensive than some other magazines but by the time you've read it then used everything in it (I have some quite cut up ones that I still can get little bits out of!), along with the good quality of paper, you more than get your money's worth!
Hi yes I got mine from wh smith I have also found it in my local newspaper shop it costs £5.99 well worth it next one out on 19th July 2017 hope that helps xx
Thank you soooo much for this... I live in the U.K and had not heard of this beautiful magazine.... just subscribed today Thank again.... I love whatever you share. Jenni
Thank you soooooo much for sharing you wonderful magazine find/recommendation. I have just been able so sign up for a subscription here in France :) I will be busy watching more of your great videos while I await my :Daphne's Diary delivery .
Ohhhhh I must go to Barnes & Noble ( I don't have a Joann near me) this magazine looks amazing! I love all things vintage as well and I make journals so this is definitely for me! Thanks so much for Sharing, Kay
Omg I love Daphne's diary, I found one at a Kroger's a year ago but haven't found one since. I get it out and look at it all the time it's my happy place lol
You have a great eye! Quick question! Do you find that if you collect your images beforehand, you end up with soo many cause you can't use them as quick as you collect?! Haha I get so carried away with it I find I make piles of ephemera and almost forget to use it! Love your videos! X
Oh my goodness, YES! Thats the only downfall to collecting images from books and magazines is that you end up with boxes of ephemera 🙈😂 I sometimes do get overwhelmed but what I have been doing is giving myself small piles to work from week by week and that way you don't feel like your hoarding everything!
I found Daphne's Diary 2 issues ago. I love it so much and like yourself I plan on using it for journal fodder. I'm eagerly awaiting the next issue. Tfs your tips and I love how you have used the cut outs on your pages.
Thank you Marion! This magazine is SO amazing for people who journal because its filled with so much! Im so happy my video has inspired you in some way!! 🤗
I ended up buying three on amazon. It is a little more expensive then $13, but I get them delivered to my door and I don't have to worry about my two year old making a mess of the magazine rack at B&N - win win! I can't wait to get them! Thank you for doing this review! I had never even heard of this magazine!
I haven't done it yet, but this is how I planned to use my single copy of Daphne's Diary. It is too gorgeous to not use. I plan on buying more of them because of the surface design. I've been looking for the Christmas issue at my local book Barnes and Noble or Books A Million. Did not know that Joann's sells it.. I was even thinking that the pages would make wonderful small gift bags or wrap for small items; also they would make beautiful envelopes too. Thanks for the inspiration!
Yes, indeed, Daphnes Diary is available to US by subscription. You only get 4 issues per year though and it's $45.00. I love THIS mag too and it's awfully hard to nab an issue at Joanns though, bc so many people go get them. I've never seen one at Barnes and Noble so far. The goodies you get in each issue is fun too. Subscription available from Unique Magazines (it's a .com).
When I picked up Daphne's Diary, beside it was another UK magazine which is an equal treasure: "Project Calm Mindfulness Through Making." It has framable art, stickers, projects etc. You can find them on social media using @projectcalmmag or Pinterest /projectcalm
I am a new subscriber and new (but addicted) to junk journals. I LOVE Daphne’s Diary and have been getting them for a few years now. Thanks to the subscriber who posted the link to get a subscription. A couple years ago I also picked up at Barnes & Noble a Daphne’s Diary Paper Box that was out around the holidays - got one for myself and one as a gift for a friend. It was FILLED with all sorts of papercrafting goodies, project sheets, and ephemera. I highly recommend it if you come across it.
oh ma ma ma my goodness!!!! I love that magazine!!! I have never heard of it before or the other one you mentioned.... oh boy I hope my closest Joanne store carries it.... :-) I sent off some happy mail to you this morning!!!! hope you enjoy :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
Thank you Coreen!! I will be excitingly waiting for it :) and yes please check your nearest joanne because this magazine will become your favorite for journaling! 😊
Yes, I discovered the magazine last year and JUST love it, my indulgence ,only here in Canada we pay $20.00 for it, but I still get it, so WORTH IT. and I love reading it over and over . Thanks for some of your ideas... Monica
Wish you would have done a “Page” to Show us how to use these!! I Love the texture of DD magazine paper!! It’s Awesome!! Thanks Naz!! Love your Work (& your video)!! PS. Are you Still doing the Fabric Journal’s!! I Love those too!! 🙌🙌💓💓🌟🌟🌟😍🥰
Omg I thought I was the only one who loved Daphne's Diary! Been buying this magazine for a few months now. I discovered it when I was buying Molly Makes...the UK always has the best magazines haha.
i brought breathe magazine which is nice but this one looks gorgeous! I would love using it in my journal. what nail polish are you wearing please hun xx
Yes, there are subscriptions to the U.S. now. Think they started maybe 3 yrs. ago. What I don't like about my subscription is it arrives one month AFTER it is for sale at B&N! It is mailed from Canada and Canadian post is well known for being incredibly SLOW! It is published in Holland, the Netherlands. Such a gorgeous and FUN magazine!
The one that I found at my Joann was Edition 4. It wasn't as "vintagey" as I was hoping for, but the borders were pretty, and it did have a cool Travel Diary that I will be using to add pages to my travel junk journal that I'm making for my big trip this fall!!! :) Thanks for showing us all your trade secrets!! :)
I love that magazine and I feel okay cutting up a magazine where I haven't been able to cut up the childrens books I purchased at the second hand store.
Can you please tell me where you found those olive coloured envelopes. Someone sent me mail in one of them and I fell in love with it, however, I can’t find them anywhere.
Oh! So I Googled their website and it appears if you hit US you can get a year subscription for 89.00 before tax. I didn't fill it all out but it had a section for US. Maybe go check it out and see of you can get yours coming to your door!
I decided to buy a typewriter from eBay so I can type my own quotes and passages for my pen pals. It is so much fun and I use it all the time! This is worth the investment. If you end up with a couple of sticky keys you can always find a repair tutorial on RUclips.
Daphne's Diary home base is in the Netherlands. If you go to their website...the prices are in euros...not pounds. I also love this magazine! Discovered it several years ago. Go to the website and order the Paper Box that they have....little expensive....but you will be blown away! It is awesome!
I second that, she just radiates great energy and kindness.

I've bought this magazine a couple times and I love it! ❤️

Thank you Amber for watching! Im so happy you got some ideas from my video 🤗
Cool video! Thanks for the tips!
TFS I never thought about using the papers in my journal.
What a beautiful magazine!! I was already going to Joann today... Its like it was meant to be!! Lol Thanks for the great ideas! :)
Yes it was definitely meant to be! ☺️ your going to LOVE it!!
Thank you thank you for introducing me to this magazine!!!
No problem Maddy! Thank you for watching😊
I just discovered your channel and I’m in 🧡. I just said today that I wish I had a pen pal so I’ll be taking you up on that offer to use your PO box!
Well actually I just saw I’m 2 years behind 😳
Awesome! I have got to get a subscription! It’s beautiful!

I met FLOW first and then Daphne’s Diary. I adore them as well as Mary Jane’s Farm.
I live in Australia and have just organised a subscription and it seems they’ll send it anywhere in the world
I love Daphne’s Diary we have it in Holland to
you can get them here in australia
FYI I have a subscription. Love this video!
Wow so beautiful
Amity...forgot to tell you ...they have out an incredible Coloring Book! Should have it at Barnes n'Noble.
What!? Thank you for letting me know!! I am going to check this weekend 🤗🎉
Love this magazine Daphnes Diary (Australia)
Can you please tell me where you found those olive coloured envelopes. Someone sent me mail in one of them and I fell in love with it, however, I can’t find them anywhere.
Oh! So I Googled their website and it appears if you hit US you can get a year subscription for 89.00 before tax. I didn't fill it all out but it had a section for US. Maybe go check it out and see of you can get yours coming to your door!
That would be so wonderful Justine!! I think I might have to be naughty and get a subscription 😉
I decided to buy a typewriter from eBay so I can type my own quotes and passages for my pen pals. It is so much fun and I use it all the time! This is worth the investment. If you end up with a couple of sticky keys you can always find a repair tutorial on RUclips.
Also available at Books-a-Million
Ok, I have a really stupid question for you, what type of glue do you use?? I love your stuff!!!
Daphne's Diary home base is in the Netherlands. If you go to their website...the prices are in euros...not pounds. I also love this magazine! Discovered it several years ago. Go to the website and order the Paper Box that they have....little expensive....but you will be blown away! It is awesome!
Oh my goodness thank you Lynn!! Will definitely need to check that out, I'm sure my wallet wont mind 😉😂
