For me, best love song of the modern era. The writer’s pain is so palpable, it actually makes my chest hurt. That’s quite a feat bearing in mind the thousands of songs out there that mostly only deliver a 3minute buzz. There is something eternal about this though, made all the more poignant by Ryan’s magical delivery of the words. Could write a dissertation on this song .

I saw him live recently on the Ashes tour. Unfortunately up in a balcony far away from him, somehow still felt like i was directly in front of him listening. Hes one of those few artists whether your seeing him play or just listening on youtube, he can really bring you into the songs and make you feel what he felt at the time. I think that even without hearing it, he understands what hes done for people like me and you. Just agreeing with your comment! hes an awesome dude
