When i started listening to hip hop, i hated how he and a few other good rappers who could maintain speed would change their voices, but when i started rapping myself, i realised it isnt easy to be moving around the stage, not dancing, but still having to captivate an audience that doesn't necessarily speak korean. Changing your tone, peaks an interest as a natural reaction and gives you time in a position of vocal cords where you can take in more oxygen. Beat:its either plain or its sick lit af. Most rappers seem to have a repetition of the beats for 3 times for a 3 min song. His beats change every 1.5 mins on an average. Its impressive to set your tobe of rap in such a way that you can change the beat completely the way he did in agustd with only the minor background drumset playing the same beat. Pronunciation :they go smooth, audible, understandable. Some people often put in so much pressure in few words that other words seem unimportant in the rap, makes it seem rough to listen to,like gravels on a road, his pronunciations are smooth and he isn't rushing, pressuring, or any of that, but maintains breath and tempo. Lyrics:do we even have to talk about this?
Also, he isn't perfect but surely deserves more recognition than he does as a rapper and producer, thats all im saying, because the voice may sound dry once in a while too as a matter of fact and no rapper producer can be perfect just the way a singers voice cannot seem appealing to everyone
