This is a more off-the-cuff review, kind of shooting from the hip, here. Because of that, I fumbled with words, forgot to say some things (like what artists seemed to be the influences of the pastiches, for example) and overall spoke with less focus than I though. I probably should have scripted this, and likely will do that if I do another one of these, but let me know what you think of this in the comments!

On a technical note, I really like the setup here. Great backdrop, the head-on vlog style view is very accessible. Not sure if the same setup would be viable for the react series, but I wanted to put those two cents in here!
Okay, here are my thoughts:
I really like this format! I think it’s definitely a good idea to script these kinds of reviews. I also think that taking more time diving deeper into other specific details (style pastiches, lyrics, etc) would be fun to see! And maybe instead of reviewing and *_then_* playing the song, the song could play *_first_* followed by the review.
There were a couple points where I got the songs confused (also partially because I have yet to listen to the full album), so it might be a good idea to include your thoughts, however few, on each track in order.
I know this first review is kinda shooting-from-the-hip, but I think this could absolutely become something very polished and informative (even if the review is opinion-based).
Thanks! Some of the songs play before I talk about them, and some do after...I tried to mix it up, but I can see how that might've been confusing.
And I considered doing a track by track review, but I thought folks might get bored with that, as I probably would have rambled way more since it was unscripted. Scripting going forward will definitely happen, as that will definitely help keep me focused on what I'm trying to say. 😅
@@InsaneianI think it’s definitely a good thing for each track to be reviewed in order for consistency’s sake, and also *_because_* it would take longer. From what I’ve seen of other album review channels, depending on album length, reviews can get up to thirty minutes in length. And while keeping it short and simple can be good for the viewer’s attention, spending fifteen (in this case, unscripted) minutes to talk about a couple things you liked about a 45-minute album may end up sounding… rushed? Probably not the right word. Repetitive, maybe. But it is definitely *_not_* against the law to take as much time on each track as you like!
Everyone's An Expert is one of the most intricately pieced together comedy songs I've ever heard
I agree and I really wanna redo this review so I can go more in depth with each song. I dunno if it'll get any views tho. But I feel I should have at least scripted this one. 😅
@@Insaneian You should definitely keep doing full album reviews that give some insight into each song! Wouldn't be a bad idea to review this album again if you feel you have more to say about it.
I like the review and the reactions. Can we have both? You do what makes you happy man, I'm here to happily watch.
Oh yeah, I was planning on doing both. I wasn't going to abandon the reactions for reviews. I was just going to switch it up and do a review every so often.
