I can watch stuff like this all day and it never ceases to amaze me. Jokic is really a once-in-a-lifetime player. He must really know his teammates well. He knows how they play and how they move. That's the only explanation for the seemingly unbelievable assists he makes without even looking. An extremely smart player.

he can see every inch of the court, over any defender, and have the ability to teleport the ball into the exact right spot.

Jokic is a gifted scorer/passer- in his unconventional way. He will make mid-range and 3-point baskets with his high-arcing shot. Averaged 30.5 points, 13.4 rebounds and 10.1 assists per game on 55/47/80 shooting splits in a postseason that is going down as one of the greatest of all time - is showing us that what he's got might just be unprecedented.
Best C in the league and arguably best player in the world right now.
“Unconventional” only because he is among the most intelligent bball players ever. We are used to seeing a certain type of nba basketball, so Jokic’s genial play may come off as “unconventional” only because we are expecting the same old style of play.

@@rudyardganuelas6254 He moved his legs. It wasn't Jokic doing the running. It's called TEAMWORK. The biggest difference between Jokic and say, DeMarcus Cousins (who made EVERY kind of pass Jokic has but a decade earlier) is NOT "I.Q."... it's MPJ, Aaron Gordon, Jamal Murray, Bruce Brown... etc.

The level of awareness is another level, he always knows where everyone is. His teammates has to be aware aswell, you never know when the pass comes.
Just look right at the beginning second scene, he points his teammate where to go already having the play figured out and finds him seconds later wide open in from of the ring for an easy lay up. He is a chess master on the basketball court. It is just amazing.
The only way Jokic could surprise his team-mates would to to look at them and then pass them the ball. 🙂

Great compilation. I thought I would get bored watching 13 minutes of Jokic passing, but It was always so fun to see what the next pass would look like. As interesting as the passes are, it’s also fun to listen to the commentators try to find words for what just happened when Jokic passes.
I've allways disliked basketball as my least favorite sport, but now because of the 'Joker' this has picked my interest, and I actually follow the Phoenix Suns now. Robert at 68.

His passes are fantastic I can watch Jokić and Dončić all day long with your fantastic vision of the game the two smartest players I believe that is ever played at the same time he is so unselfish with the ball just wants to win doesn’t care that much by scoring that’s what makes I live in New York so the West Coast got games are always not until later like around 10 o’clock at night but I get to meet pass every year and I’ve always watched Denver as one of my faves the Mavericks are my favorite team it’s been that way every since Tim Duncan retired from the spurs but after the performance the Denver put on in the playoffs last year they have captured my heart completely I can’t wait for another great season I just wish these two teams did not play have to compete against each other For a finals position can’t wait for the new season to start I already feel like the West will win the finals whether it is Denver or Mavs I’ll be a happy man my opinion only
His passing reminds me of Jason Kidd. Like Kidd, Jokic makes the players around him better.

@@DineroA1 nah jokic straight up doesn’t miss cutters. Luka is great but doesnt make a large variety of passes and it gets predictable by good playoff defences.

Is it wrong for me to say jokic is way past being the best big man passer and is just one of the best passers now? If he continues to do this for the remainder of his career he can even be considered an all timer in this department and it wont be a reach.
No other 5 in history comes close in passing. At this point, the only reason to call him that is to avoid the uncomfortable discussion of comparing him with all-time PGs.

I'd argue that jokic is sometimes better. Yes magic was flashy but jokic can dish out dimes while not being ball dominant. And sometimes jokic seems to be even more creative than magic who regularly relied on speedballs and no looks. I'd argue that bird was a better pure passer than magic and that jokic is almost equal to bird.

At the 5:28 mark, Nikola Jokic rebounds the ball with one hand and throws the overhead outlet pass for the easy assist without using his other hand. It looks like he was just toying with the other team.

NIKOLA JOKIC has said that if you SCORE a point then one person is happy but if you make an ASSIST then two people are happy. I think speaks volumes on his pass first mentality.
Jokic was somehow more fun to watch as like a rookie or sophomore. That man would literally throw it anywhere and be like “yeah, there’s four other people on my team somewhere”

Jokic is the best passer in basketball history... His passes look no different from some of the most electrifying passers, and his reads are similar to the brightest basketball minds we've ever seen. Now, take into consideration that he's taller than all of the best passers. The ability to pass over and around everyone on the court with ELITE speeds, accuracy and timing doesn't even make this a debate anymore. I have felt like this for 5 years and even called him winning his first MVP with spot on precision. I love the respect he's getting, but give him more!!

He is very good and exciting. Some super passes, however the big man comparison is uneven. He is the first big man to be passing from the key and 3pt line as a guard would. I am sure that Wilt or other big men if playing the same style would have high assist numbers.
