You have changed my original opinion on this watch, I never really thought much of it from ali express pics, but now I actually like it alot more after you showed us the finer details like the 3D dial, great camera work 👏🏻
great watch and super video quality! those kanagawa are awesome, especially from san martin. it would be awesome to see an aliexpress watch tierlist, since you have now owned so many of them, and probably have made an opinion out of each brand. keep up the good work!

Very nice watch, first thing I noticed was the well finished high polished hand set. The case is very well made and the date complication is nicely integrated. It's not the most legible watch in the world and definitely not suitable as a first piece of a watch collection. But I agree on that, it's definitely a piece of art in the size of a watch dial.
Funnily enough I think it's more legible at night with that lume 😉
It’s a homage to the 6105-8000 which was the predecessor to the captain Willard. I have the mop dial version. Wonderful watch, surprisingly elegant case shape. If San Martin ever produces a black dial version I will be buying that as well. I bought it for the mop dial but it the case shape and finishing that I adore. My only complaint about the watch is that it is always “on”. The mop dial combined with the incredible loom creates this glowing orb of iridescent light affect any time you are in doors day or night. If you want attention rest assured you will get it. If you don’t feel comfortable with people staring at your wrist than I’d pass. The watch looks and feels expensive, perhaps too expensive for my tastes.
They really are cracking pieces. As you say the build quality, the lume combined with that beautiful dial. What's not to love?
@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR, mine came with a ss bracelet. It looks very similar to a Doxa 300 t. Makes me wonder….were doxa inspired by the old Seiko case shape?
Good watch with a fully lumed dial, but I'd like to see a less overused image on it

This is quite nice. It's also on a great deal for this sale, really temping (along with the nice mother of pearl option). I don't know where I got this from, but I thought the case was only 39 wide. Definitely bigger than I thought.

@@HonestWatchReviewsHWR I just checked and if you're in Europe you're sorted, since you can pick the Belgium location. Outside of Europe only the no logo mother of pearl is available from the China warehouse. Those sold out quick.
@@RavenWindrunner Unfortunately the Belgium warehouse doesn't ship to the UK for some reason. So I had to just order the no logo MOP version. They really did go quickly.

I saw a post in a German forum, someone got his SM 0068 from the sale on Monday delivered on Wednesday! This morning i was in the the need of some instant gratification, so i stopped resisting and finally bought the watch i will probably wear only on a few summer weekends when the occasion match the dial.

I had the mop dial in my basket waiting for the sale to start. As soon as it did they were immediately sold out. Only the wave dial is left in Europe, I live in Asia and can't even get this version. It begs the question, why are they sending out review samples when they don't have the watch for sale, the cynic in me wonders if they will become immediately available again once the sale ends in a few days?
Cool review I’m thinking of getting one, is the dial easy to read from a distance in normal daytime or does the background interfere with the hands
