    I get this and glad I’m not alone, with the “ hope your not looking at another bike” statements from her who must be obeyed. 😂
    I also blamed you for my Double Take mirrors bought in USA and tax paid to get them to Scotland plus Touratech deflector 😇🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

      I’m probably going to replace shaft and drive. I heard it was last lubed a decade ago.

      @@AdamChandler86 can you even get those from bmw anymore? (the input shaft i mean), thought they're following the japanese and older model parts are being discontinued

      There are some companies now making brand new shaft from scratch based on OEM specs / measurements. People are generally pretty happy with them. There are also some low mile eBay parts with good looking splines. Part of the process of restoring an old bike, I guess.
