    Dr Nimeshan Geevasinga is a neurologist, neurophysiologist and senior clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney. A graduate of the University of Sydney, he completed his training in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology at Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals. He has a keen interest in all areas of Clinical Neurology and Neurophysiology, with a particular interest in neuromuscular disorders. He is a NHMRC PhD Scholar, undertaking research in the area of Motor Neurone Disease. Having completed his doctoral thesis in the diagnosis and pathophysiological mechanisms of motor neuron disease, he is now a Postdoctoral NHMRC research fellow undertaking further research in Motor Neurone Disease. Nimeshan is part of the MND Multidisciplinary Clinic at St Josephs Hospital. He has published numerous scientific articles and attends local and international motor neurone disease conferences, where he presents his research studies.
