I would like to share with you the most significant in person experiences I have had with Carlos, since I was introduced to him in the 60s. They both were in the Willamette Valley, a small town named Eugene, with an open ampitheater. The first was during The Sacred Fire tour, Carlos was calling in the angels. My hair stood on end to ascend, I laughed, I cried tears of great joy ~ an unforgettable evening in the best way. The second was some years later, Santana was touring with younger band. The crowd started getting unruly and throwing water bottles at the band. I am not sure why, strange behavior, not usual in my hometown. Although, I do now seem to recall my town had some unruly days. Well, the band started throwing them back at the crowd. It got a little weird. Someone put a stop to it, Carlos maybe. The sweetest moment is when we went backstage to say hello. We peeked backstage for a beautiful sight. Carlos had gathered the entire crew in a huge circle to lovingly and compassionately school them about the respect and responsibilities of the performers and crew to the audience. I could hear them all listening with such deep respect and comprehension! So wonderfully! Spinetingling! So peaceful and strong! Thank you Carlos and crew from the openess of my heart ~ spiritsoars!

E eu com 18 anos em 1991, meu pai me deu, pagou, o ingresso no Maracanã, no festival Rock in Rio 2. Foi mágico, e inesquecível. Meu pai na época tinha um carro Brasilia, onde levou a mim 2 amigos e uma prima. E depois foi nos buscar. Ele ficou muito feliz, no momento ele viu pela televisão.
