For anyone watching this just remember, in SHTF situation where you're able to use money, if you pull out a $50, guess how much whatever you need is going to cost. Don't carry large bills in SHTF or preppering for SHTF. For normal preparednees like travelling across country it's not bad idea, but in emergencies you'll be setting yourself up for failure.
Now add a magazine pouch over the sling, for a lockback skinning knife, and a small firstaid kit, on the sling. With a secend pouch you've room for a space blanket.
If you get agalea amonition you can pick up a short shotgun shells 1.5 inch long you can save some space that way or reload your shotgun shells without A Wod And you can load them with whatever shot you desire
We're close in building one with a poly choke no tubes to lose. 18" barrel. Rifle sights off of a Remington 700 for slugs. A sling. I'm also using Paracord but making 2 seperate ones so uif I need to use one I still have the other. Gonna try to put 4 shells under butplate. I have pumps and autos but love the weight of the single shot
For the trigger guard... If I were you, I would round it up the little triangle edge and not cutting out part of the wood, so the wood could create one more small compartment ( next to your bullet storage ) to hold other items. Besides, I like your paracord.... Overall, very good idea for a survival gun !
May I suggest a recoil deleter on Amazon a stock ammo holder painting it black green or camo and put a red dot on it and just for the shits and giggles get some dragons breath rounds
Very cool ! 👍 Please send me flash light link with part ?? I need for my Hatfield 410 gauge and a 12 gauge I just bought cheap at Walmart last week with tax $107 each 👍
I like this idea but you're gonna have to be close to any game. Cutting off the barrel has removed any choke the shotgun had. Better practice to see how it patterns.
@Xavier C I have a Henry survival .22 that I would grab first in a SHTF situation. It all fits into the stock and is deadly accurate and I can carry hundreds of rounds.
For sure. The pattern was mostly within a couple-foot diameter from ~30 feet. I think the grouping on the .22 adapter was actually worse, or at least too hard to aim.
Exactly right. He shortened the distance he could take game with. Why all these "survival shotguns" have to be choke less(and short) is beyond me. Our ancestors carried much longer guns than 28" barrels through the woods. I'd grab my 410 shotgun(28" barrel, Modified choke) in a SHTF situation, since I could reload the shells with Pyrodex easily and carry plenty of rounds(250 rounds = 10 pounds). With such, I am capable of taking deer and smaller game.
i have one a 20 ga shotgun the canon is 14in but strock is empty so i put a survival kit in it have a sling that i'm doing a mod to carry more shell on it i order adapter for a 9mm it a 8 in adapter and a 22lr
I like your build, but if you put survival items in the gun and lose it for whatever reason, they are gone. I would just put ammo and cleaning tools for the gun in the gun.
@@tonyallensworrh331 A downside is it removes the choke and makes it harder to hit anything at a decent range. A risk is if you cut it too short it becomes illegal to possess without a special permit.
I think I commented on that in the video. It's legal to trim the barrel down to 19" without a special permit according to my research. (not legal advice)

Innovation at its finest! Great vid!
Great video brother best i have seen in a long time 👍👍
I pretty much did that to mine two year's ago. And I have the 45acp adapter in the stock of mine..
Great cheap shtf gun
I bought the 9mm adapter just cause ammo is much cheaper and surprisingly its been amazingly well and accurate

Good job. I think a bandoleir would be better than the boxes of ammo. You can wear it and make room in your pack.

Love the vid one thing I did to mine was install a poly choke no tubes to lose. This cost more than the gun but we'll worth it for survival
Love people making
These videos.
Subbed

Thank you !🇺🇸
Could you make a part 2 soon

Nice man 👍
A sling pack would add a ton more storage without being too bulky ,,,, room for food or mylar , etc...
Non lubricated “water bags” I hope.
Lol my man over there drinking condom water
It helps the giardia go down smoother
An alternative would be Uncle mikes swivels.
great!
Any equipment to clean the gun while in the field?
Go buy some adapters so you can shoot mutpial calibers of ammo thru it. Then it would be the ultimate survival gun.

I like the sling just not too sure about the buckles
As far as being durable? Probably true. I got it from an old backpack so it's just what I had on hand.
Very Good .
How did u buy it? I can’t find a Walmart that sells guns anywhere near me
I went to my local Walmart in Utah. I don't know any other stores that sell them.
that those 70$ and that easy access cap make me nervous

Needs a recoil pad it kicks like a mule.
Couldn’t find the flashlight link
Still works for me, but try this longer version www.amazon.com/dp/B06VWW84MG/ref=cm_sw_su_dp
😊
Dont you have a backpack
hold the camara still!
Está arma está en 99 dólares. Bueno Eso veo ahí
Never cut a barrel.
Why????

I got mine down to 20" still holds decent with #6 shot.......I mainly feed mine cut shells.......
Atf Dont like you doing that it a crime
