    A google search yields to me no helpful results, does anybody know where I can find the driver?

    Should I use a DI Box between the RP1000 and my Scarlett 2i2 ??? Thanks in advance for your reply. Rock On!

    • @wreuel26
      @wreuel26  3 года назад

      Nope. The Scarlett pretty much acts like a DI box between your guitar and computer.

    I have RP500 and cubase le 11. did everything like you demonstrated, but when i want to switch the asio, it says "Failed to open ASIO input device", but it perfectly works with my old laptop.
    plz help.

      Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the RP500 v2.1 audio drivers? Try it if it works.

      @@wreuel26 yes sir, did that a couple of times, dint work.
      so using the low generic asio driver now.
      any other options i can try?

      @@Jr_Slash_ probably a bit late, but in RP1000's manual, it states "PC users must download and install the ASIO driver to use the included Cubase® LE4
      recording software". Hope it helps!

    My rp1000 direct with usb to my daw just sounds pretty bad. Can you do a video on how you set your levels for recording? I can seem to get a good tone no matter what I do. Also how are you monitoring? I tried using my headphones and it's so loud. I guess I'm just not understanding what to do. Thank you for all this content. I enjoyed watching your rp1000 videos.

      Thanks for your question Tom. For latency and noise issues you can try these workaround to help troubleshoot/resolve the issues:
      1. Make sure to use a working and short data cable (not more than 5 meters).
      2. Uninstall and reinstall your RP1000 drivers.
      3. Optimize your PC for performance (you can google this for instructions).
      4. Try other USB ports where audio sounds better (less crackling and popping sounds).
      For setting good levels, you can adjust the recording and monitoring levels in the RP1000. I'll try to make a video soon.
      Right now I'm plugging my RP1000 to my Scarlett 2i2, using my Samson BT3 for monitoring. Sometimes, I plug my RP1000 direct to my PC via USB and connect my BT3 to the RP1000 through the headphones output using an aux cable.

    • @wreuel26
      @wreuel26  4 года назад +2

      @@tomacheteful nope. hmmmm I haven't tried that yet. I'm using just the regular instrument cables to connect to 2i2. I set the input to "Line" in the 2i2.

      Make sure you have X-Edit open and you adjust the usb & RP levels. (It’s a drop down at the bottom of x-edit).

      Try to use different instrument cables first, might be busted or grounded cables.
