I birdied the 1st at Worsley the first time I played it. Slightly pulled a 3 wood, 6 iron approach and knocked in a right to left 8 footer. And ended up shooting 39 GROSS for the front 9, when I’d never broke 100 up to that point.
Then shot 50 on the back 9. Normal service very much resumed, BUT because of the freakish front 9 I broke 100 and 90 at the same time. 👍🏻🙏🏻🏌🏻♂️ #thatswhyilovethisgame

Bullard is a far better golfer, Shields is a good bloke but mentally he’s weak and he’s an awful putter.

The reason you're #1 in the golf video world (my opinion) is not that you're a great golfer (I don't mean that in a bad way because you're a pro and are a great golfer) but it's your personality. You are so very watchable and entertaining. I watch RUclips to be entertained (and I think most people do) and you do that so effortlessly. I am fresh to golf, I had my first visit on the golf course last September, after I saw one of Ricks club reviews.. then "how tos", then.. a probably dozen of other his films and suddenly I realized "wait a minute. It looks fun! It is a lock down, restaurants are closed, gyms are closed, but what about golf courses?" And it happened, that golf courses were open and I started. And I am still here, have a half set of clubs and am progressing slowly, thanks to Rick Shiels. Like this vid, like this conversation-like interview. Had some fun, thanks

As they talk about how good golf is for mental health, physical health and how good it is for the soul to be on the course, it takes me back to the Gareth Bale interview with EAL when he said he prefers golf to football as football is a job to him and has more pressure. Later on the interview he went on to say “a bad day on the golf course is better than a good day in the office”. Truer words have never been spoken.

Ricks videos on the Isle of Man got me back into golf after 22 years out. I’m totally crap and am getting no better after a year but I still love it and would play every day if I could.
