Do you think the Cantina will still be in stock for May 1st for the promos, or will people jump on the 4x April 30th and sell out prior? Same with the $30 off Ghost.
I am wondering what are some good buy combos up to 160$ ? Could one of them include R2D2 with something else, or another buy with ghost and fantom or the gunship ?
personally i love the r2 so i was thinking that and the super star destroyer. But the r2 might be a personal buy not investment since it’s probably not retiring this year but you never know with the special anniversary ones.
I will definitely pick up the ghost and probably two obiwan brickheadz to make up to threshold. Thinking another order of two star destroyers and two obiwan brickheadz
I’m definitely getting the New Republic E-Wing Vs Shin Hatis Starfighter since that will have 4X VIP Points and is set to retire. My only concern is if the 4X VIP Points sale is for In Store only. I hope it’s for both In Store and Online since I’m gonna be ordering my sets online.
Do you think it has long term potential… like 10 years from now? Due to a sheer lack of production? I would think it would at least 100 in 10 years just because of limited supply.
Mos Eisley Cantina is 445 dollars for me on the LEGO shop, Is this worth it considering the promo gifts and 4x points? I can get it for about 340 dollar in local store.
Im in a huge dilemma what to buy.. i want sets that i can display, and sell if i want later. Im thinking about the R2D2, becouse of Malak. I think he will sell for a good amount later. But i cant figure out what the other one should be.... What would you chose guys?
What do you think about the ucs at at and mos eisely cantina being in store promos only and if they sell out April 30th people won’t get the droid carrier
Does anyone know what the promos are like in the UK? I'll assume they're similar but idk how lego will change the prices based on the values of the currencies
@@DGBricksYT Someone on reddit told me that the gwp will be like £145 which is nice to know. its just a shame not knowing what will be on sale and for how much here because im 100% planning on buying trh ghost
UCS sets have usually been 2.5 year shelf lives the last few years. The Venator isn't on the retirement list and since it's still selling strongly, it's unlikely to move onto the list.
I know it’s never been done before, but does anyone else have a sneaking suspicion that LEGO is going to ‘double dip’ and make this droid carrier into a full release set in the near future?! 🤔
@David-jo2wr I don't mind them as long as they arnt price gouging ..when you are charging hundreds of bucks more than the item cost that's crappy....I don't mind paying an extra 50 bucks or so for an item I couldn't find otherwise...when you think about it alot of these actual * stores * are resellers....anybody who sells a product that had no hand in the production are considered a reseller...whether if they charge 1 dollar extra or 500 extra.
@@mattrobbins1237I don’t think the distribution network that works directly with Lego can or should be compared to private individuals buying a product with the intention to sell later for at their markup. Finally gonna pick up the AT-AT for those 4x points
Excellent choice!
Mos Eisley is on my list.
Not sure I can wait and gamble on a possible sale.
@@moonshoes11 I wouldn't. $80 back is very good.
Is 4x online and instore? I heard a rumour it was an instore thing?
@@moonshoes11you rate it’ll be easy to cop?best proce you’ll get it now
i be picking up that Tie Interceptor day one, it has always been my favourite SW ship. and with all the free bonuses it makes sense to get early
I was going to do the same but will instead buy it a month later for $150 using the 4x from a cantina purchase. Hard to wait though.
@@Smartguy-22 if you are getting the Cantina with 4x points then it makes sense to do it that way as well.
The Coruscant Gunship I've seen a lot of great deals for that sealed on eBay for way under market price.
Do you think the Cantina will still be in stock for May 1st for the promos, or will people jump on the 4x April 30th and sell out prior? Same with the $30 off Ghost.
Anyone not waiting till may1st is stupid but it's possible if enough people get FOMO and buy early
Cantina is on backorder but still available with the promos!
Does the 4X apply to Australia? We never get any info on Australian promos?
Based on the response I've seen online, I'm guessing the GWP will go for as much as $80 (once they sell out).

It’s still a really good sale for the ghost ship

does LEGO have a limit on consecutive orders?
As long as you don't go over limits on the paid items, there should be no limit to the number of orders you can make!
I’m selling all my gwps asap, I don’t think there is any growth potential.
Do you think it has long term potential… like 10 years from now? Due to a sheer lack of production?
I would think it would at least 100 in 10 years just because of limited supply.
even if it were, the money i could get from it now would grow more in 10 years, although i think your point is very fair
$40 now > $100 in 10 years. What do you think is higher in 2034? This promo set or 0.00061 BTC?
So if I but Lego Star Wars sets worth 160 dollars or more usd than I’ll get the trade federation set for free?
yes

What happens if you ship everything back without the promo?
As far as I know, the "MSRP" of the GWP ($29.94 USD for the Droid Carrier) is deducted from the refund.
Can you make more than one order on the same account and get a promo with each order thats 160 dollars ?
yes!
Should I get the cantina for 350 from a local seller or wait ?? It's brand new
Be patient there is always a better deal. I got mine brand new sealed for 200 from facebook marketplace

Does may 4th promo only apply to lego store webpage? Asking cause i get mine from amazon
If I do multiple orders do I get multiple GWP?
You should but lego may Crack down this year, fine print says no but last year I got multiple, safe bet is make extra accounts
Is it normal that mos eisley is currently selling for 290€ in our local eshop?
I’m way more confident that the executive star destroyer will retire then the ghost
Have you seen the alternate Venator build for that set?
It’s worth buying a second set. 👍✌️
Agreed! If Ghost does fall off the list some people will be very disappointed.
@moonshoes11 which alternate build?

I'm not sure if that currency exchange info has been released yet. I would expect something like $USD 160, 150 euro, & 140 pound

Is the UCS Venator set to retire at the end of this year? If so, I might decide to pick it up during this May 4th event.
It most likely will not retire this year. I would not buy it therefore
UCS sets stay around for 3+ years
UCS sets have usually been 2.5 year shelf lives the last few years. The Venator isn't on the retirement list and since it's still selling strongly, it's unlikely to move onto the list.
Not retiring. However it is excluded from extra points.
I was going to buy one, but not now.
why would anybody wait for a discount on for example the Commander Cody Brickheadz lol. Its 10 bucks and perfect to add to the threshold.
Not sure if it will retire this year. You have a point about it working as an additional push over the threshold though
Great vid. Thanks homie
Does buying the ATAT on april 30 count for may the 4th promo?
I don’t think so
I know it’s never been done before, but does anyone else have a sneaking suspicion that LEGO is going to ‘double dip’ and make this droid carrier into a full release set in the near future?! 🤔
Probably not.
Cantina or at-at for 4x?
Both retiring this year, both may not be discounted further, so they're both solid choices for 4X points
@@DGBricksYT what about for investment?

How do resellers get thousands of polybags. Curruption at it's finest.

Lego recently emailed me and told me they were "expiring" my 50,000 points. yeah, giant billionaire company deleting points from customers. nice.
They do it if you dont purchase anything within a year or two. cant remember exactly.
