Quick question does the STA Level have a light on the metering ?
Hey David! It does not have a light on the VU.
@@SeawellStudios thank God I thought mine was broken 🤣😋
@@DavidLuchowI did the exact same thing when I first got one 😁
@@SeawellStudios cool 😀 I need to a have some light 💡 now to see how much I am compressing. Mixing in the dark at the moment
What mics did you guys use?
Korby KAT with 67 capsule on both of these vocals 👍🏻
Where can I hear this song?
"Seize the Day" by Patrick Rock. - available on all platforms, links in video description! "Getting Over You" by Jessica Baker is an unreleased song but if it ends up getting released I'll let you know where you can find it, thanks!
Wow instant girth and thickness - Peter Gabriel in a box :) What an amazing tone this compressor imparts!!
That might just be the best Sta Level description I’ve heard yet 👍🏻
That male vocal is money before the Sta Level. 1073?
Thanks! The preamp was a Shadow Hills Quad GAMA on the Iron setting.
@@SeawellStudios The gama sounds great
@@SeawellStudios And what mic?
@@yofrantovar9463 Korby KAT with the 67 capsule.
no by pass to hear the action.....
That’s why I included the dry samples at the beginning.
@@SeawellStudios sorry 😊
@@MELOPSMUSIC no worries! A lot of these higher end compressors don't have bypass(trying to stay true to the original design I guess) so I always try to include the Dry files when that's the case. I hope you could still get some useful information from the video though. Here is the full review as well in case that's helpful: ruclips.net/video/SvgDF-bwPpY/видео.htmlsi=XDK7BG7LDorAq6wt
