    Yep, that's how I settled on using this guy. Great for that last bit of subtle control on the dynamics before going into my final limiter. Found a little bit of the saturation goes a long way too. Great video.

    I use the bx_xl v2 a lot. Mainly for making the mix wider. Sounds great when smashing the saturation on the side channel. Even if it's multiband limiter it has something that glues the sound together.

    I like vids like this (not a whole plugin tutorial, just a trick with it, parts you personally use, don’t use, etc). Thanks Streaky!

    I've been using this great tool for a couple of years now. It's not a plugin for the beginner. If you want a one-knob solution, look elsewhere. However, it IS a great plugin for the serious student to learn with.
    I'm having great results with the new IK Stealth Limiter, too. Their audio programming has finally come of age.
    Streaky, what other software limiters are you using?

      U also use few limiters on the master bus or only one ?

    • @randszzob8590
      @randszzob8590 4 года назад +1

      @@roygertel I do use a second limiter at times, doing a different job. Often with a compressor too. Using multiple dynamic tools with care and attention to their roles and strengths can be very important in making a great master.

      u believe this limiter its better than l2? from waves?

      @@luisserrato6603 Overall, yes, but they are not the same at all! You should choose the best tool for the type of music you're mastering, of course.

      I'm thinking of getting it for 30 bucks but not sure ... I need a limiter and I do not have a really great budget

      @@luisserrato6603l2 is definitely better and as a xl v2 abuser it tends to distort so much quicker than other counter parts. If you want transparent and good limiting then go for the l2, sonnox limiter or the weiss maximizer if you're a 1 button kind of guy
