- Before recording this video, I'd been on hiatus for two months for health reasons. But I'd been accumulating packages of stamps. Here's a little bit about them, some unboxing, some general talk about several topics along the way.

Welcome back!
@@BobCollectsStamps thanks, I started at 6 and I'll be 78 on Thursday
Very happy to see you back on. I was worried because of the long gap in between. Stay healthy, do your physical therapy and above all, have fun.
I’m having fun, taking care of myself, and my stamps! Giggle.
Welcome back! Hope you’re feeling better.
Lots of love from Australia. ❤️
Glad to see you Bob. I wish you a speedy recovery! Greetings from a newbie stamp collector from the Netherlands. It was nice to see those Dutch stamps 😀🇳🇱
A question: what do you do with stamps that smell really bad (like cigarette smoke)?
Hi. I have never had any, but you could put them out somewhere to sit, or you could put them into a box with an open container of baking soda. Someone else may have a better suggestion. I’ll ask on Twitter.
I got the baking soda answer, though they said put the stamps in a small container and the baking soda all around it in a larger container, and the following link: www.stampcommunity.org/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=11007
Hope something helps!
@@BobCollectsStamps Thanks a lot! I will definitely try it out.
@@charleswoodrow another answer. They all seem to involve baking soda. “Put them in a box one layer at a time with a nice thick (1/4 inch or more) layer of baking soda in between and leave them for a while”
Not sure but soaking might work if they are used stamps
