  • Before recording this video, I'd been on hiatus for two months for health reasons. But I'd been accumulating packages of stamps. Here's a little bit about them, some unboxing, some general talk about several topics along the way.

    Very happy to see you back on. I was worried because of the long gap in between. Stay healthy, do your physical therapy and above all, have fun.

    A question: what do you do with stamps that smell really bad (like cigarette smoke)?

    • @rhole2001
      @rhole2001 2 года назад

      Hi. I have never had any, but you could put them out somewhere to sit, or you could put them into a box with an open container of baking soda. Someone else may have a better suggestion. I’ll ask on Twitter.

    • @BobCollectsStamps
      @BobCollectsStamps  2 года назад

      I got the baking soda answer, though they said put the stamps in a small container and the baking soda all around it in a larger container, and the following link: www.stampcommunity.org/topic.asp?ARCHIVE=true&TOPIC_ID=11007
      Hope something helps!

      @@charleswoodrow another answer. They all seem to involve baking soda. “Put them in a box one layer at a time with a nice thick (1/4 inch or more) layer of baking soda in between and leave them for a while”
