Tribute to Mr Jim over at "Home Grown Veg" and the wonky potatoes

This video was inspired by Mr Jim at Home Grown Veg channel. These potatoes were Grown from the clearance bag of organic potatoes at my local supermarket. The bag was only a dollar and planted 6 pots of potatoes. only down side is that I have no clue as to what the names or varieties are. Doesn't really matter all that much as I'll eat all varieties anyway. As shown in the video, staggering the starting dates allows almost year round harvesting. Depending on the weather; usually 6 or 7 crops of potatoes from these pots. The pots were obtained from thrift shops or marketplace for free or next to nothing. The soil is reclaimed potting soil from dead plants obtained for free from the big box stores and discounted organic fertilizer bought at the end of the growing season. I use leaves raked up from the parks as mulch. Anyone can make this happen for very little cost and just some effort to gather the items needed. Each crop yield only costs a dollar for the seed potatoes and only when I don't have left over ones from another crop.
