Yeah, seems the red rank dungeon perk doesn't quite hold a candle to the additional Lara Croft expedition Regarding the Casey Jones and Shredder skins, maybe I'm reading too much into this, but reading the F.A.Q.'s for the upcoming event, it states that those respective skins "won't be available for further purchase [OR UNLOCK] after the end of the event". Right there it sounds like there will be two ways to obtain both skins, where as the Lara Croft cosmetic skin could only be purchased

During event you will have to use Ninja Turtle coins to get them to 4*, buy the season pass to get them to 5* and then get the rest of their souls from the treasury.
Sure there very rare to get totem but least its a chance! Getting totem the normal way is like 1 in 2k-3k? Ive only ever seen one myself course ive never seen 100x on trying hit the gold jackpot on emerald to gold.
I think normal one is like 1/3333 though it might be 1/2500. I could never find the exact answer last time I looked. At the very least, this is another chance to get a totem every day so it's not too bad.
