I watched him growing up as well. Roland martin, bill dance, and im from louisiana so there has been quite a few professionals that came from here in my hometown.... i kayak fish here in louisiana. Was 16th in the state last year. Wanna travel to alabama, texas, florida, and north carolina

I can remember being a kid telling my dad on Saturdays when the Bill Dance Show would come on I was going to grow up to catch bass like Bill. And as growing up my dad asked me if that is what I really wanted. And dog gone if he didn’t teach me to catch bass. Bill thank you for being one of the best parts of my childhood.
I was the kid that woke up to watch Bill Dance Outdoors on a saturday morning instead of cartoons. Now I watch it with my kids anytime on RUclips, and we are still learning new tips! Thank you for a lifetime of learning and inspiration Sir!

Hey bill.. it’s been on my bucket list to get yo fish with you one day since I was a kid.. well that’s been over 50 years now. I’m 67 and it’s still on my bucket list . You’ve always been my fishing hero. I’ve entered every contest to Fish with Bill.. never won any.. but I’m still dreaming. My wife and I go fishing every month of the year , catching bass in se Georgia , my wife would rather fish than breathe air , she loves your show and she can catch a bass ! Why don’t you allow her to fish with you one day ? It would be her dreams come true .

Im not sure about the fish not being able bto see diving baits. I use senkos both weightless with a horizontal presentation and neko rigged with a verticale and catch equall amounts on both.
