Sounds like songs all the musicians around where we lived in Kentucky sounded! Everyone stopped by with instruments and everyone sang while sitting on the front porch! So much fun growing up!
I discovered Home Free on RUclips by accident about 2 months ago and I'm already an addicted binge-watcher. I told my sister about them a week or two back, mentioning their fabulous harmony, how humorous they are and that their shows and songs are family friendly (which is a big reason I like them so much). I sent her a few links to their videos right after I told her about them. I saw her earlier today and asked if she'd watched any of the videos yet. I cracked up when she answered. She said, "That's the best looking bunch of men I've ever seen singing together. Oh, and you were right, their music is great, too."
I thouraly agree. I 've just been happily enjoying Chris Rupp. He & Tim Foust are amazing together - I guess I am just addicted to both Home Free & Chris.‼️🙂👍🎶
Everytime, I say I only have time for one song, then 10 songs later! I can't get enough of these guys. They are so talented. I want to see them in concert, hopefully soon.
My uncle used to live in Minneapolis as of this past year. When he passed away. He was the one who told me about you guys several years ago when you went to the sing off. Told us all Ohioans to vote for you guys. We did and you won. To this day you have nor disappointed me in my decision. So after his burial i listened to Tim's version of Angels Among us. And cried. Thank you.

They always leave me smiling or laughing. This song sounds so different to me than it did 6 months ago when I found out about them... So I guess this turned into a pretty special song.
Played this at work the other day and my customer and coworkers thought Alabama was singing. Alabama was always big in our house growing up and I love this sampler. Huge thumbs up to Home Free for bringing such sweet harmonies into our home lately.
Growing up, I always enjoyed listening to the choir at our church. The harmony mesmerized me so much that while most everyone else I knew that sang focused on singing lead vocals, I concentrated on singing harmony. When it's right you don't just hear it, you FEEL it!! That's the way it is with everything you guys do!! You can just feel the meshing on voices in every song!! Here's hoping I can hear the live version soon!! You guys are fantastic!!

I love love this group! Amazing voices and the beatbox'g etc is incredible. I think every one of their songs is my favorite. I've watched & listened to them so much I feel like I know them. I do miss Chris & hope he'll join them off & on but check out his site. Some fantastic things going on there too. Now why won't they come to Ohio???

I had the entire Alabama band in my car in the 90s. Their limo didn't show up and I was a runner for the venue. It was a pretty surreal experience. They asked me if I enjoyed the show and I said, "I'm not really into country" and then they asked me to turn the radio off, they heard enough sound for the night.

Grew up in a musical family! Uncle ,grandma and aunt played banjo and mom played guitar! Down in Ky., everyone carried their instruments with them when I was a kid! Stop by and have a bluegrass festival right then and there! Loved growing up with music!
without a doubt, you are my favorite "new" group. However...when I saw that you had done an "Alabama Mix", I was concerned that you were messing with the purest of the pure. For country, they ARE the "go to" group. I should never have had that thought. You have honored them well with your remake...and now I would ask for you to do all their songs. ☺ Thank you for this...keep up the great music.
I wouldn't call myself a die hard country music fan, but I am addicted to you guys! I listen to you several times a day, just like a lot of your Fries do. You'll never be the same. Never. I have stayed up entire nights watching them on RUclips. For real. Make sure you find us Home Fries on facebook!
I was fortunate both personally and professionally to spend several years working with and building friendships with the boys of Alabama beginning in ‘82 when their first hit, “Feels So Right”, propelled them into the eventual status of superstardom. I loved their music and it’s original and unique sound but lyrics that everyone could connect with! And because I knew them and understood through that friendship just how personal each of their songs were to them I’ve never encountered anyone performing one of their signature hits that I enjoyed and felt was elevated to a professional and original presentation rather than just average karaoke level... (and I admit I am surely not quite as open and receptive due to the personal relationship I had with them)...until I heard this medley by Home Free!! Guys, you kept each song’s original style and mood and clearly paid a respectful and considerate homage to Alabama! Yet you also managed to give each a more contemporary flavor, sound and performance while exhibiting restraint and respect for the creation and vision of each one by those wonderfully talented and kind boys from a small, rural town in North Alabama who achieved success beyond their wildest dreams and managed to always make every song easily identifiable and uniquely “ALABAMA”, representative of them individually and collectively, their families, hometown and the lives and experiences they cherished from growing up where and how they did! When you heard one of their songs you immediately recognized it as an ALABAMA song even if it was your first time hearing it! That’s definitely not an easy act to follow especially with such iconic tunes! But you guys held your own against these musical Titans and managed to make each one sound authentic and personal for each of you and the listener just as Alabama did! Wishing you all a long, happy and successful career with adventures and achievements that almost everyone can relate to! Thank you SOOO MUCH for doing this sooo well! 💋

Saw Home Free at the Taft Theater in Cincinnati! Wish I could have been closer! Loved this concert! Best ever! I hope they come back again! Best concert been to in years!
There are so many great sections in this medley!! The best is definitely the "da-dum da-dum" part at the beginning of "Born Country" (starting at 0:25). Just so gorgeous. And Adam's bird sounds are awesome in that section too. But I also love how pure & clear Rob's voice is at 3:23. So perfect for the "feeling" of "Angels Among Us." And Austin's little run at 3:53 is sweet too. Love how y'all give each other moments in the spotlight; you're ALL so talented!!
I like the guy (barritone) at 3:29. But I never hear anyone mention his name. (found out his name is Chris, and he's not in the band anymore, which is probably why I've not heard of him. I think I like him better for the diversity in his voice, as the other guy sounds like Tim-light.)

I listen to other singers you have "covered," and I think, "How on earth did this person/group even MAKE it on the radio?!" I grew up listening to Alabama, The Statler Brothers, The Oak Ridge Boys, etc. I know how they made it. They have an unforgettable sound and ear-pleasing vocals. Though you covered their songs, you still made them yours with your own unforgettable sound and musical offerings. Well done!
Ditto! Almost every time I listen to the radio after listening to y'all (Home Free), and a song they sing comes on by the original people, I'm like "Ew". No offence to the original artists, but yeah. ~Anne
I've been listening to these guys for 3 or 4 years now since I discovered them... and in that time I think there's been only one or two songs they've covered that I still prefer the original. They improve almost every song they cover! But I do love their original stuff, too. Very talented guys!
Looooooove this video y'all! Love this song on the album so glad you did the video of it! Now I know where the bird whistling noise comes from, Adam does it so well! Such an amazing medley and beautiful harmonies. Love how each of you got a solo, & Chris you need more solos!! ☺

These guys are so much fun - not just the great voices but they just make you feel good watching them
Alabama is one of my favorite classic country groups. Great job!

I've been listening to these guys for 3 or 4 years now since I discovered them... and in that time I think there's been only one or two songs they've covered that I still prefer the original. They improve almost every song they cover!
But I do love their original stuff, too. Very talented guys!
They do an excellent job of Alabama's songs! Love this!
Ya'll definitely need to do a song with Alabama! That would have some incredible harmonies! Love you guys!!! See you Sunday in Tulsa!!!
Home Free in concert in Cincinnati was amazing! I was in balcony and seat vibrated!

Beautifully done. Great flow from one song to the next.
Looooooove this video y'all! Love this song on the album so glad you did the video of it! Now I know where the bird whistling noise comes from, Adam does it so well! Such an amazing medley and beautiful harmonies. Love how each of you got a solo, & Chris you need more solos!! ☺
