    A very useful little introduction to ETFs for me. I've made some good realestate decisions and I'm about to walk away with a big lump of cash I don't know what to do with. Sound like a good option for me.

      Thanks for watching Joshua, I definitely like the diversification and that it’s somewhat set and forget
      (can’t legally recommend you buy them of course!)

    Loving your updates on the Aussie ETF scene. How about diving into the smaller players too? What's your take on Fuse Minerals? They're making waves in junior mining, planning an ASX IPO. Would be awesome to hear your thoughts on Fuse Minerals. Cheers!

    Few things: yes my glasses are wonky, yes some of the stats vary slightly from the screenshots (some numbers changed since filming) and no I can’t recommend ETFs to you

      Getting these people will ease a lot. And at last, you’ll realise you have safe your funds. The money we throw into stock without even taking consideration to whether it’s good for holding or not is our hard earn money. So we should accept someone professional to make good management of it for proper growth.

    Hi Ray, thank you very much for such a good video, I wanted to review some of the ETFs like IVV and VGS in my Vanguard account, and for some reason I can not find them, seems like those are not in the browser of products they offer, can you please let me know if you hold a different type of account? thanks.

    • @raycorc
      @raycorc  Год назад

      Thanks for watching Angee - I can’t recommend specific platforms but IVV is an iShares product, whereas VGS is a Vanguard products
      So you won’t be able to get IVV with Vanguard personal investor
      Most big platforms would likely have both available to buy, contact their support if you can’t see them on your dashboard. They’re very common ones

    How do we pay the fees for ETFS? Do the fees just reflected on their share prices?

    • @raycorc
      @raycorc  Год назад +4

      Hi Wendy, you don’t pay them directly - the fees/costs are accrued daily and deducted on a monthly basis from the fund assets and are reflected in the daily price of the ETF.

    Hi Ray, been following you for a while and got a question. Do you know of a trading platform that'll allow me to buy Aussie stocks while living in the US? Australian citizen here fwiw.

      Thanks for following mate! Do some research online, but I’ve heard of Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Robinhood, WeBull, eToro
      I can’t recommend any but that might give you a few to investigate!

    Can these be bought as super funds

    • @raycorc
      @raycorc  Год назад

      G'day Debra yes it is possible with some funds to put these in your super. For example QSuper has a Self Invest option where you can add a range of ETFs. They do have limits on how much of any one ETF you have so you aren't overexposed on one sector/ETF. And I assume through self managed you'd be able to do whatever you want (check with accountant etc of course first)
      Contact your super provider and see if they have options for choosing your own ETFs, definitely possible with some funds
