Guys I just looked at the thumbnail and I knew, this works just as well with a black elastic hair tie, the small to medium, grab a pencil twist it to make a hoop and put that at the top of the pencil, now stretch band at the bottom to the other end twist it and hoop it in and your set, thanks for the idea!

slam it on the ground. It might not work. But keep stamping until the fret-board no longer is in one piece so that you can get your pencil back. It worked for me
