I believe him as well . Even here in the west they use coconut . You can use what ever you have . Sure there is procedure but we talking about spirit . They are not bound by our procedure or customs . I am a new initiate and I’m American but I know for a fact you can ask and get an answer directly to your heart / mind. So why can’t you use bottle caps ? The answers isn’t in the opele , ikin , coconut or any other tool.. it’s just that a tool for spirit I.e to communicate . Is ifa not everywhere ?

We have to stop all this dogma in Ifa, spirituality is very very complex. When you the universe picked you, you will cast lots with grains too😂😂. Life is not linear oo, humans came up with dogma.
