I appreciate the concern, but rest assured, we took all necessary precautions, got our pediatrician's blessing, and were prepared to bail on our plans if needed. We also have quite a lot of experience backpacking and climbing with our son since he was a toddler. We love and care for him very very much...way more than summiting a mountain :)
