In China, Indians often ask strangers for their names as soon as they meet. I have reminded Indian travel bloggers many times that in China, it is impolite to ask a stranger's name directly. In China, it is generally more appropriate to ask for a person's surname when meeting for the first time. In India, due to the caste system, asking someone's surname can be inappropriate. However, in China, where there is no caste system, asking for someone's surname is considered normal social behavior.
You think too much. Chinese people usually like to ask you how to call you, how you answer depends on yourself. your name or your surname up to you, such as Mr. Zhang or Mr. Li, or your name, such as Xiaohua or Xiaohong. Generally , when it comes to surnames, it means I don't really want to be close to you, and when it comes to names, it means I want to make friends with you
Everyehere most of the people tell their first name, not the last name. Indian don't know your chinese culture, it's not their faults. They are only tourist, they don't live in China.

China is super safe for women. In china women are working in all sectors especially in the traditionally male job sectors. one example is women bus and truck drivers
With regards to the spice, they have intentionally made it less spicier since you are a foreigner. They don't know about Indians' chili tolerance. Sichuan, Hunan and Guizhou have the spiciest food in China. It can literally burn your tongue. As an Indian, I can vouch for that. Pingxiang, in Jiangxi province might have the hottest cuisine in China.

Btw just wanted to say thanks for talking normally as most Chinese comments here are pretty racist and insulting so it was really nice to see an unbiased comment about information!
Thanks again!
What language are you using? some Indian local language mixed with English?
China is a safe country, but a girl traveling alone without speaking Chinese should be very careful. If budget permits, take public transportation instead.

Beautiful girl, I love you. Love from China❤️

Your mom should be really proud of yu sister❤❤❤yur brave solo gypsy but take care of yur health
Until something happens. It's not a matter of "if" but when.
you are extremely brave or really careless to yourself. Although China is really safe, but the most places you travel is the remote and rural areas.
Awesome 😊😊
wow!!👍 what an adventure
You can hitch a ride, but it's very far from Yunnan to Sichuan. Unless you hitch a ride on the expressway, you can only hitch a ride in sections! ! !
I admire your bravery!
Yes I was not allowed to enter expressway after 350-400 km of hitchhike. So I took train later
Motivational girl ho yrr aap
Is there really safe for a girl wandering around? especially in those rural area. nice video, so authentic.
China is super safe for women. In china women are working in all sectors especially in the traditionally male job sectors. one example is women bus and truck drivers
China women's labour participation rate is 60.5%.
Bohot hard work karti ho aap 👍 apna dhyan rakho garima ji take care

Hitchhike is a patience work, keep it up.
Its because of hitchhiking we ar able to see the rural & inside town of china,
so have you done hitchhiking in India ? where in India are you from ?
With regards to the spice, they have intentionally made it less spicier since you are a foreigner. They don't know about Indians' chili tolerance. Sichuan, Hunan and Guizhou have the spiciest food in China. It can literally burn your tongue. As an Indian, I can vouch for that. Pingxiang, in Jiangxi province might have the hottest cuisine in China.
