- An intimate version of Billy's hit, Eyes Without A Face, performed at a fundraiser for the Santa Monica School System music and arts departments. Steve Stevens and Stephen McGrath perform with Billy, alongside the Lennon Bro's from the band, Venice.
Billy Idol is in many ways the greatest rock star alive.
And dont forget Steve Stevens is one of the best guitarists alive!!

Great version of a 80's classic. Loved how the students were so into the music considering this song was from their parents generation.

When your voice is that beautiful, and your singing with a choir and an orchestra and one of the best guitarists... and the audience are looking up at you and you can tell they've all got the chills from this performance... and you're singing one of the most brilliant songs ever written... of course he's smiling... simply brilliant. What a beautiful version of this classic Billy Idol song. Love the violins and slow melody, then Steve Stevens rocks it out. The rest of the band is great also. So glad to see he's back performing again. Billy Idol is a legend of the Punk rock era.

Steve Stevens is the sound of Billy Idol. I'm so glad they've remained friends. If you haven't yet, Buy Billy Idol's book "Dancing with myself". It's great. Also, you are right about the kids of today. The music is, well how shall I say, "crap". I do like a few of today's artists such as Bruno Mars, The late Amy Winehouse and I am a big Prince fan. Billy's power was (is) his delivery of his songs. Not necessary to sound like everybody else. No one comes with a light years reach of Billy. If he over sang his songs, yelling into the mic.... I listened to my fair share of those in the late '60's early'70's & some in the '80's. That just proves you have no confidence in yourself nor your music. Acapella ... if you're lyrics are that good, you as a lyricist have nothing else to prove.
