Would you suggest the online version for beginners? Or, should we get the boardgame first? I'm sure it's a good idea to get the boardgame version anyway.
Definitely the online version. The online app is a great way to learn all the mechanics because it's rules enforced. It's also convenient that it takes care of all the magic tracking, adding/removing boosts, and so on. Things like that can be easily missed when playing over the board.
