I have an expensive machinist level. I have discovered that the moderately priced levels are not sensitive enough for me to leave the table. It has made a great improvement in my leveling. And the cheap levels built in to the leveling tables are real bad. I love how the silver looks. It is really nice. Thank you as always for sharing. 😊😊😊

Hello,3days later and you just unmolded, it's so pretty, my first thought was don't bend it, turn it into a little tea tray , the inside is far too pretty to be covered up, the little bowl is so neat too. Love the flower 🌺 both of them.

If you watch Petra, she runs her molds under warm water to soften. Or a heat gun. This bowl is STUNNING! I have this mold and will definite try this! Thank you! 💐🩶
Yes she does. I was trying to avoid that because of the size. I'd need to use my bath, full of how water as it's too big for a bowl or the sink, and the heat gun - it's such a big mould and I am just on a small space in my craft room, I may set fire to something :)

I have that same set of molds. Don't feel bad about not getting the it to form exactly how you wanted. I actually have a couple of the more shallow bowls and I like them for decorating. The colors are prefect.
I think I rather like it in the end too, though it wasn't the plan, it does make a change from the ones I usually do

Beautiful platter and bowl! Love the colour combination so pretty! I have a large platter in white and gold shaped like a poinsetta with 4 small plates, this reminded me to get it out for xmas. LOL

It's lovely, but frustrating to know crafts don't always work the way we want! I have 2 wire wrap pendants that I just cannot finish as tgey took a turn for the worst half way done & there's no saving them, though I keep them around just in case of Devine intervention! 😂 Thanks for sharing!❤

You can put the piece into hot water to soften it up….works like charm
I would have if it would have fitted in the sink . The bath next time though that’s a little of hot water 😀

Tracey, a tip from Petra G...fill a sink with hot water and let it sit in it until it's soft!! And you can mold it without putting it in a bowl by using heavy tape across the top as many times as you like...then let it cure and remove the tape!! 😊
I would have but it was too big for the sink. Next time I'll pry it in the bath lol

Hello from Canada Tracey. I love the way this has turned out, and really love the smoky colour that you got. One question though...why didn't you put a book or two on top of the bottle instead of the mold? To me, that would have not only been easier to do, but would also have given you the depth that you were hoping to get. Mind you, half of my library is in my crafting area, so that would have been the first thing to come to my mind and always within my reach. Thank you for the wonderful video and great tutorial.
Books kept toppling off whereas the moulds didn’t, and the moulds were heaved. Glad you liked the bowl 😀

I have a similar set of molds. There is no flower design in the middle, but the shape is the same - tray and coasters.
Yes I have them without that design too, though the large one is a bit smaller
Try putting some sugar packets under the legs of your table or I use tiles under mine because it was quite unlevel as well. Also I've said this before use a good heavy duty heat gun as you shape it and try adding a smaller bowl in the center then stacking it with heavy objects while adding heat around the small bowl it'll form just as you want if you do it that way. But this was a great Christmas in July video! Loved it! So wish I had, had the time to join in again but I only found my Christmas molds a few days ago and what I had in mind was very time consuming and would have taken me atleast a week to create! I still plan to do it but sadly I won't have it ready for another week atleast.. if you want to pop it on at the end that would be great if not that's okay I'll do it and save it for Christmas time! Looking forward to seeing what everyone else did and thank you so much for hosting!! ❤❤❤❤
My desk has no legs, and I have 2 leveling tables, they just need releveling after my move around. As I;ve said before that wasn't the technique I was demonstrating. Yes we'll be doing an actual christmas collab so be great to have you join in then :)
@@miniscenesgb I just haven't seen you use the heat it up while adding weight method before so thought it'd be a nice touch to add in when your resin has become too hard to form. A lot of people don't know about that and I think it would be highly educational. My table has no legs either 😂 I put tiles under the MDF board I have over an automan to level mine 😂 I thought I was the only person not working on an actual table!! Love it! Still a great video as always girl I didn't mean any rudeness or hate I hope you know that, some things just come across the wrong way when you are simply just trying to give helpful information.
